      Unity1 is right, last time Dick Smith didn't price match they own store. JB HiFi did price match.

        I just called JB Essendon and Maribyrnong. They don't price match Dicksmith if a discount code is used, so it's a no in this case

    Bought this from previous deal but couldn't integrate with Soniq QASA.
    Unable to see the home page but could see the chromecast text and chrome symbol while resetting Chromecast.

    Appreciate any help. Thanks.

    Bought this after trying it out at a mates place. It worked off his Samsung pretty well. I tried my iPhone. You have to download the app. There is only a few apps off the iPhone that work well with this. Pandora, You Tube and Vevo. New apps will eventually join this list. Happy with the purchase and look forward to receiving the device.

          I've had this problem since this morning. Called dicksmith customer service and they confirmed they knew the issue and were in the process to fix it. Don't know when it'll be fixed tho.

    I just went to Bondi Junction JB Hifi and the staff member was very quick to just discount the Chromecast by $10.
    So just matched the Dick Smith price.
    I mentioned Dick Smith have a $10 off voucher and wanted to know if they can match this price.
    Easy and done.

    It aint what it seems despite Google's claims that it will send anything to your TV from tablet laptop etc. It will but only to an extent, laptop works fine but not all video formats recognised…tablet a different story, only good for Youtube, only certain devices will mirror to your TV and its not a big list so check before you buy.HTC One M7, LG G2, LG G2 Pro, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 10, Samsung Galaxy Note3, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Samsung Galaxy S5 are the ones so far that are compatible.
