    • Damn professionals. I hope he/she knows it's not made in Japan.

  • Thanks OP. Perfect timing.

  • I'm assuming I can charge these with another brands charger?

  • +1

Nearly 10,000 items sold with only 95.9% positive feedback … & 299 negative feedback in the past month!

  • -1

    thanks just bought 200 /jk

  • Thanks OP, purchased AA with charger pack, lets see what the fuss is about with these batteries =)

  • Thanks OP, was looking to get 4 batteries for my Xbox Controllers, but they'd be useless without the charger so this works perfectly!

  • Batteries and Charger(perfect!)…she said she needs rechargeables

  • Can't believe its been Brodened, but I guess thats to be expected.

  • Thanks KT!!! Grabbed a couple of these (hopefully they get sent), and also grabbed another 4 'Sanyo' AAs with the Quick Charger for $20 from the Bunnings clearance!!!

  • +1

438 sold in one hour O_o

  • +1

Sometimes the serendipitous nature of ozbargain is overwhelming! AAA batteries are just what I needed to buy today :)

  • +1

These Brodens that buy 100, 200… what would they want them for?
Cant be eBay resellers as the next cheapest price for AU stock is $14.99. There wouldnt be a margin with all the fees/expensive shipping.
So who would want them? Shop owners?
    Who?

    • Maybe other store front resellers like JayCar, Battery World, etc???
Probably cheaper to buy it this way (shipping inc), than what they can buy direct from their normal wholesaler!!! Curious what the normal w/s cost is on these now?

  • Thanks. Bought one pack of AAA.

  • Was contemplating purchasing some since I got a targeted ebay offer with $10 off any purchase. How does this charger compare to this one? (http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/product/duracell-all-in-one-…) Thanks :)

    HI guys,
I'm new to the whole eneloop craze. Do they need a special charger? I have a simple (dumb) Panasonic charger that charges for 8 hours and then turns off. One of those you get at every supermarket. Can I use that one, or should I get the one in the post?
    Cheers!

    • +1

If you REALLY get into it you will want a MaHa C9000.
      Long story short:
Timed chargers dont know the state of charge of the battery, they can easily cook your batteries. They are bad.
So-called "smart" chargers analyze as they charge and stop when things are just right. They can also do a variety of cool battery tricks.

A little known but nifty way to get a compact full smart charger is to buy the Eneloop two pack with included USB charger, if you can still find one. They were sold with two Eneloop AAs for as little as $12.49. That little USB charger is a full delta V sniffing smart charger! Sure it can only do two at a time but if that all you need, its great and very cheap.

    • hiw did you get that extra discount.

    • how did you get the extra discount?

    • I'd like to know too.

    • Could you please explain as to how you got the extra discount?

      • -3

        lol

        • +1

Still don't want to tell how to get it for $8 must be fake.

        • +1

@2real4u: Damn, OzB'ers get jealous easily lol. Dem negs!

        • +1

Someone find a deal on tissues quick!

        • -1

@waterlogged turnip: negs don't affect me it's just an arbitrary number, I'm more glad there aren't such jealous vultures hungry for a few dollars that I have to deal in real life. Jealous people are the worst, ok maybe a close second with stingy people, yeah I don't belong here do I…

        • +1

@2real4u: Think we're all a bit stingy on OzB though loool

        • +1

@maybeamacy: lol moderation in everything is fine i guess, i meant extreme stinginess, people that are so stingy it engulfs the rest of their personality. i know this one family that makes ok money… the 8yo kid shares the same smelly pair of socks with his 15yo brother, i shudder at the thought of having parents like that..

        • +1

@2real4u: LOL I could list some of the crazy things that some of the stingiest people I know do… but I'm afraid they'd recognise me writing about them here…

  • +2

    thanks OP!

have a charger from a previous deal which i use at home and have purchased another charger with four AA eneloops.
now i can charge my batteries at work and enjoy some savings on my electricity bills!

  • +2

Eneloop Overnight Charger + AA X4 $14.98 BOUGHT!

    • +1

      Thx OP bought 1 x Eneloop Overnight Charger + AA X4 $14.98.

Just a quick question. Does this charger charge AAA batteries as well? My old charger has charging sockets for AAA batteries just below AA batteries socket.

      • +2

        yep, sure does.
as far as i know :)

      • +2

yes, the charger works on AA and AAA. One side is spring loaded.

  • +1

    Bought 2x AAA. Thanks

  • I assume this overnight charger is better than the standard chargers that come with these? my current one takes atleast 16hours to charge 4 batteries.

    • Probably the same thing.

    • Basic charger - BQ CC18 - For occasional users
AA Charging Time: Approx 10 hours
      Bought 2 of each

      • should avoid CC18, charges 2 or 4, it helps to spoil your other battery if one of them is faulty.

get CC16 or CC17. charges individually.

        • +1

But this deal only comes with the CC18… Masters have the Sanyo MQR06 Quick charger + 4 AAs for $20 at the moment!

  • Thanks, OP. Bought 1 each.

  • Finally gave in and bought both of them. Thanks a lot OP.

  • +2

Alright then. It seems everyone else is doing this. Give me one large glass of Eneloop Kool-Aid thanks…

  • Thanks OP bought 1 each.. was thinking to buy another 4AA and charger but will wait for a deal on pack of 8 eneloops

  • Thanks bought a set of AA's

  • Im a bit late but just bought both as well. Didn't know the charger also charges AAA, thanks for who ever asked. Bought the charegr as well. Thanks op ;)

  • Thanks KTA.

  • +2

feel like a true ozbargain-er now that I have purchased some eneloops

    • Early days, mate. Wait for the feeling you get when you make your fifth eneloop purchase.

  • Thanks, bought AAA & charger, nice deal!

  • Just received email that my order has been shipped.
Wonder how many stock they have. 1,064 sold in 24 hours

    • When did you order it?

      • 9:10am. Paid using PayPal

      • i also received my confirmation a short moment ago from DSE.
i ordered it approx 6:20am, paid with PayPal

  • How does Dick make money off these

    • +3

by grossly overcharging us in the first place, and then listing them as discounts at a price they should have been originally.

      • That's what ALL RETAILERS in Australia do to rip us off. They first mark-up the price by 100-200% then give us a 50% discount and they still make heaps of money.

  • Anyone else get the wrong consignment number?

    • Orders shipped on business days can be tracked after 7pm

      • you think they use the same numbers? ,I suppose. :)

    • Yep me too..

  • Mine shipped.

  • +3

    Pfffftttt… that's not cheap.
This is how real Ozbargainers roll - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV6kxQYGVs0

        • +1

          @eneloop:
Guess that leaves you free for the weekend!!! ;)

        • +1

          Want to power up yourself?

  • 2500 packs of aaa's sold, here here!

  • OzBargained 10 mins ago :(

    • They must have relisted/stocked, because I just purchased both charger & AAAs.

  • +1

The AA with charger are still instock.

  • missed out on the AAA

  • +2

    AAAs back in stock?

    • +4

      Yep.
      Looks like they reloaded

  • What are the benefits of these batteries in comparison to Energiser or something?

    • +1

They're low self discharge - holds their charge for years, still has 65% if left alone for 5 years.

      • -1

Well not for Years but certainly longer than non LSD batteries

        • +1

Self-Discharge: approx. 70% capacity after 5 years. So yeah, years!

  • Hope to see MR Dick add the 950mAH (AAA) on sales for $11.99 + free shipping.
