    • You should get another email further down the line saying that the AAA batteries have been shipped in another parcel consignment. Some times Dick Smith sends out orders in multiple split shipments.

    • I recieved a box for the charger and the batteries in a white padded large envelope

      • Was the envelope in the mailbox or was it in the box as well?

Just checked my emails again and theres no email saying the AAA's have been shipped, guess they havent shipped it yet. In my original invoice it said on backorder for the AAA

        • Well then your AAA's are still on backorder and hadn't been shipped out yet.

  • Has anyone got cashrewards to work?

Do you have to disable adblock and hosts file ad blocking?

My AAA batteries haven't been shipped yet, but will probably happen sometime during the afternoon.

  • Wow thats some seriously poor feedback from Dickies Ebay account…

Mine arrived today, the charger pack with 4xAA and a 4xAAA pack. Both Made in China.

    • Were they both in one box and did you get two separate emails saying they've shipped, or just one?

      • I ordered both separately, so both arrived same day in two packages.

Yes they are "Made in china".It remains to be seen if they will be the same quality as the previous sanyo branded ones which were made in Japan. Another option might be to get Fujitsu branded batteries.Apparently these are made in the same factory in Japan that used to make the sanyo eneloops.

    • Thats why I bought the $20 deal for the Sanyo AAs & Quick Charger from Bunnings!

  • So this panasonic eneloop made in China won't be the same quality as original Sanyo Eneloop made in Japan

  • The "made in China" just puts me off and ruins the brand "eneloop" completely. Seriously, "made in Japan" is the main reason why people trust eneloop. Luckily, I still have 2 packs of 8 "made in Japan" eneloop left, which I should be able to pass it to the next generation

    Made in China crap

  • Not a fan of the made in china Eneloops either. Its not helped by their demotion to 65% retention as opposed to the original 70% over 12 months but I do have faith in Panasonic's ability to do quality control.
The will be at least OK, probably not noticeably different.

  • Received it last evening too bad made in China now.

  • Just received mine this morning. Was happy with the production date "June 2014", then i looked across the package and saw the batteries are now "Made in China". Oh well, at least they are honest. Hopefully it's not the start of a long decline of an amazing product. Does this mean that all version of the eneloops (uomo, tropical colours, standard white) will be made in China? Sad day for Ozbargainers.

    • Any of the newer ones branded with Panasonic will be! But that's assuming that they'll even produce the coloured ones!

      • Well for the time being instead i know i will be buying Fujitsu AA and AAA NiMH. Those are made in Japan with a 70% detention rate. I think they may be rebranded Eneloops made in Japan. Or if i can find the older Sanyo Eneloops in stock any where they were all made in Japan. Try places like Jaycar Electronics they may still have the Sanyo Eneloops in stock since they move out stock a lot slower than the larger retailers.

        • if i can find the older Sanyo Eneloops in stock

          Masters!!!

        • @Snoop:

Yes true, until they too sell out. People will soon be scrounging their local smaller retailer aka Jaycar for the Sanyo Eneloops when the larger retailers exhaust their supply.

        • While i am a big fan of the "made in Japan" variety, I had purchased a set of Sony Cycle Energy (Made in Japan) and a set of Varta LSD's (Made in China) for my camera. Both sets are about 4 years old and still performing very well. Couldnt tell the difference…I hope that is the case with these Eneloops!

  • about to purchase but when saw "made in China" just stopped

  • any new eneloop deals?

  • anyone not received their order on the Eneloop Deal earlier this month?

    I sent two emails to DS online to inquire about it and;

1st email received didn't answer my question, just said
