  • When did you ever charge the regular (not discounted) prices?

Why do you allege these are special prices "from" (for?) OzBargain?

You offered these same prices last month.

    The power of OB!

Or Use eTax and pay $0!

Mate, use mytax. It takes 5 minutes

      • It might take you 5 mins but not everyone.

        • +2

Either way it's a lot easier than etax. If you have simple tax matters and you normally use etax then you should change to mytax.

        not for everyone…

        You should use myTax if:
your only income was from salary and wages, allowances, bank interest, dividends and/or Australian government payments

    • yes, you can, but it does not mean that everyone can do it.

And he had to sockpuppet that deal because everyone knew it was spam, which resulted in its deletion. And now he's back again spamming crap.

          @pmupsinep:
This deal and its lister needs to get nuked.

discount does not mean it will only happen once in a lifetime. you get same discount on same product twice every month from the supermarket as well. Did you ever refuse to buy them?

well at the end of the day, it is personal choice.

  • I seen the mytax thing can anyone help me, i have never done a tax return yet, does anyone else have to ring to ato to confirm identity, also im getting $455 tax back but i have paid $388 in union fees do i get the union fees back on top of the tax or….

    • It's your first time lodging so you have to call them and confirm identity. There a process for first time lodgers on the ATO website

    • The union fees come off the top of your taxable income before determining your tax liability. You won't get the $388 back.

    Do it yourself for $0

Not everyone can/ wants to do it themselves. Not a reason to neg.

Free tax return lodgement through ATO website -

myTax: If you have straight forward income such as salary, wages or interest from savings then lodge using myTax. Its web based service and takes 5 minutes.

e-Tax: If you have income from businesses, investment, property, rental and other indirect sources then lodge using e-Tax. As you are aware that your income is bit complicated and will take more time to lodge. But fear not, e-Tax is a desktop software and it has all the options available that you may require to declare in your tax return.

  • Too late!

I did etax, and the tax man sent me a bill for about $400 which i am happy to pay.

The tax man is a good bloke, its the banks that are really really nasty rip off barstewards.

etax will not let you make a mistake and its free…
