This was from leederville's (store rep) comment from the Sony thread about the a7's, but they seem to have a pretty good price on the a5000 too, for those (like me) not yet ready to make a jump up to a6+'s;

Not sure if it's just me, but this seems like a really good price - combined with the Sony cashback, this would take the price for this camera down to $461 ($545 + $16 AU delivery - $100 cashback from Sony) delivered?

      actually it replaces the nex-3 series. they cant call it the alpha a3000 because thats already taken

  which Video Pro shop did you get the price for 546.70?
  asked their online live help, it's now 573 delivered.

  that would still make leederville still cheapest adding in delivery fee, then Gerry Gibbs, then Video Pro.
  with that said, only about $10 difference between the three shops.

  Maybe should buy from Video Pro since they have a few shops around Brisbane.
  What are your guys ideas?
