    • Please let us know, we just checked all seems to be working just fine.

      • Mostly working again ;-)
But it is a little disconcerting…

        • -1

          Try our best

  • Well, actually the google play frenzy started on this phone back in June last year. ;)

    • Not at this price with Global warranty.

      • Will HTC Australia (or their offices internationally) handle the warranty claim or yourself?

  • +4

There are a lot of us waiting from their last deal (5389 clicks) for
    * promised confirmation email (to be sent Monday)
    * account update (still shows order status as Awaiting for Paypal Payment but mine was confirmed by PayPal on Sunday)
    * Feedback about our growing anxiety about that

(See that deal for my tips on how to find 'My order' - strangely it's pretty well hidden, how to even login - via 'Ckeckout', very poor site design, don't forget your password - 'Forgotten Password' doesn't work, and others gripes about servers, lack of purchase description in 'My order', etc. If that doesn't make you question this deal's site…)

Would suggest anyone interested in this deal be very cautious until last deal is proved to be successful!! At least that deal was loose change in comparison.

OP: My advice will pop up in every deal you post! (I've Subscribed)

But as Rep is active in this deal, we will see their thoughtful response below… (still waiting after nearly 1 hour!)

    • +4

As there has been no response from Rep so far, I've negged this deal (based on issues with this trader for many). Happy to withdraw it if Rep responds to complaints. Otherwise it acts as a warning to be cautious.

    • -1

Bruce, the reason for no confirmation email been sent out is due to our server crashed in the last deal.

anyway be sure we are working on it!

      • +1

You have had plenty of time to post that issue on OzBargain. That you choose not to shows very poor customer relations.

If I was buying a au$441 phone, I would certainly take that into account & choose to buy elsewhere. You've lost any support I felt for your business.

It would seem we are only getting your response by negging your next deal - affecting possible sales???

  • Yea, i have to neg this deal from last deal experience. My paypal had been charged but no email and my order is blank under my profile. Better to fix your website before any marketing, otherwise it will backfire.

    • -1

      hi andri,

we are processing those orders from bottom up. 397 individual order on my table alone for the noosy. everyone will be updated within this week.

  • I have no idea why this Rep isn't banned.

Same experience as @brucefromaustralia and @andri77

    • -1

cmon man. we r working as fast as we can.

      you will be updated shortly.

    • They were banned… the rep got this domain banned

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/woodhouse.com.hk

Then setup a new domain, registered a new account and hey presto, spamming again.

  • You are right Bruce. I realized that I also have not received any email from previous deal, no order number Nothing except an email from PayPal about payment.

  • It was a rare neg from me.

I 'haunted' one overseas Rep's deals until they made up with a few 1c deals for all & offered refunds (after they were banned). I reported them on the basis of deceptive conduct. MODs were very good - so use Report link in last deal if you are not happy.

But there is no bad blood with that site as my complaints were valid & they made good. I still buy from that site.

    • Im here responding.

you can check our fb too, since this is what my coworker has been doing all yesterday.

  • Same as last deal?

    • -1

please note the last deal we posted shipping 5~7 days.

it takes a while to package all those orders.

      • +1

It was your choice to offer more product than you/your system could handle.

[You could have been smart by releasing a limited number over several deals. That would have been simpler for you and kept us eager for your next deal. But I usually am paid handsomely for my professional advice.]

Most businesses would realise it is not good to unduly concern potential future customers (by failing to live up to promised confirmation emails & failing to update 'My orders' - which most professional businesses have their computer system handle very promptly).

        • I competely agree with you.

We launched the deal Lat sunday morning, when I got to office…. It was too late.

If you check out our site now. We fixed those issues that you were experiencing before.

We will do our very best to improve. and I also understand your neg feedback.

        • +1

          @28mobile:

You have improved some aspects of your website :-)

But I just checked the "My Orders" and it is still showing Status = "Awaiting for Paypal Payment", and the "Invoice" link still generates an error. I also haven't yet received the promised Monday email (but have been updated by other means).

        • +1

          @oz-dave:
          same here :-(

[UPDATE] Order Status finally updated to PAID!

  • +1

A warning: OP has already been banned
Still No confirmation email for previous deal, promised to be delivered 5-6 days ago. Still problems with site.

    • +1

Yep, nothing's changed for me either.

I'm certain he's a one-man show with the following business strategy:
      - Deliver half
      - Ignore other half. 80% of these won't chase it up, so he only has to carry the higher paypay rates for the 20% or so for paypal disputes.

The paypal notice on his website seems to bear this out. It advised him of more onerous terms because of adverse paypal transactions.

      • My lawyers have advised me to make no comment. Why do I keep getting defamation threats? Honest, I'm a nice guy.

        • +1

Is the Rep threatening you ?

He can threaten me as much as he wants. My item is unshipped, shows as unpaid and he has ignored my requests to fix.

        • @redcreek200:
No. The OP has been very gracious, acknowledging the feedback, thanking me, making improvements, only once spitting the dummy when misunderstanding my comment. [No different to working with very successful corporate clients in my experience, except no high payment. I can be challenging, but mean well.]

        • @redcreek200:

But, I have a recent serious defamation threat from a lawyer over my online comments.
It's framed on my wall ;-)

[Medical practitioners can be over protective of their reputations, and unwilling to accept any criticism. (I was reporting on a successful payout after taking the doctor to a Health Commission. There was not the usual confidentiality agreement, so I used the opportunity, cautiously!)]

I win cases I initiate, not lose ones taken against me. Besides, defamation cases only show how bad the other party is. It's a pity the online case has not preceded - a journalist wanted the story. I would have had a lot of fun!! But the website received the full take it down treatment & complied.

Having started up & run my own (sometimes investigative) university newspaper when I was a student, threats were common. Never gone to trial as I am (usually) careful with my language, know the law, and have good legal advisors who will work pro bono. The other party retreats with their tail between their legs. (All except my first case, where I learnt from my mistake. Licks wound.) In one case a university director lost their job after my exposé.

I have lived with Special Branch (political) police detailed to keep me under surveillance, and have been through military interrogation at rifle point told I was to be shot, so nothing in life compares to that. Got to smile ;-)

          "And the occifer° said
          Better get a lawyer son
Better get a real good one"
          http://www.songlyrics.com/the-cruel-sea/better-get-a-lawyer-…
°occifer = police officer, I never knew that!

          Off-topic as usual.

You guys really have a lot of time on your hands :D

    anyway https://www.facebook.com/28mobilecom/photos/a.43824836962069…

Thats one of Many evelope gone out.

    • Glad they're on their way :-)
Hey, that's my envelope! Everyone cover your eyes!!

Hand addressed - either labour is very cheap or you need to automate your labelling ;-)

      Anyway, I'm happy.

Yeh! Also received invoice/ confirmation email. Finally after nearly a week!

      You have been busy.

      • -2

We have been manually packaging over 4000 noosy… and yea It took longer than I thought.

Oz-Dave package is also out, but I passed out yesterday from sending out confirmations manually.

        BR

        Patrik

        • You won't forget this for a long time :-(

Better strategy, planning, and systems would have helped so much.
(It was like watching an animal give birth. Just glad it wasn't me.)

          Thanks for the effort.
You will probably dream of noosy :-)

        • -1

@brucefromaustralia: … https://www.facebook.com/pt.ekstrom feel free to add me, that way I dont fill up my inbox from OzBargain notifications.

        • +1

Why don't you first update paid orders to "paid" prior to shipping ??
Leaving them unchanged as "awaiting payment" a week after payment is not a good look.

If you have the ability to accept payment immediately, then this shouldn't be hard ?

        • @28mobile:
Even better strategy - don't deceive customers.

      • I was lied to by OP - just received PayPal refund.

  • agreed, until the noosy adaptors are received, i would avoid this mob. Most likely scammers

  • Glad to see this OP has been banned. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/forum/28mobile.com
