      • It's just that your site does not make us confident of that - design (especially how to log in, finding "My orders", failures like "forgotten password", server issues), updating of online accounts (no update of PayPal status since purchase), lack of promised confirmation email.

        All that can be improved to make your business more attractive to potential customers. We'll be back for a look after we receive our purchases ;-)

    Heres a tip. DO NOT put these in your phone without a sim card in the adapter. When you go to pull it out it will wreck your sim card tray

    i bought a similar (if not exactly the same) set from ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OZ-U-Card-Adapter-Tray-For-iPhone…

    and there are lots of ebay sellers selling the same thing, all around the $1 mark. so 5 sets for $1 is a massive deal provided you need so many! if not, i would choose a local seller to get it sooner rather than later.

    quality is not bad, but when i used it last month, i had to slightly trim the nano-micro adapter else it would not fit my iphone 4s. apart from that, these are the best quality sim adapters i have come across.

        Not showing for me. Tried firefox and chrome but nothing like what you describe is displayed on their home page where you mention.

        Some incompatibility or blocking going on somewhere.

        click on the cart "Check Out" (even if it says 0), login, and then you'll see "Profile | Logout" Up near top left

    didn't notice there were 2 in my cart until I paid for it.

    • There's a bit of a hiccup at times.

      You enter one to the cart, but it doesn't always update your page straightaway. If you go and add another one to the cart (thinking it failed the first time) you get the extra in the cart.

      You can edit the cart before final checkout to get the number you really want. Too late for you, but may help others :)

        anyway its not much to loss and going to give most of them away

    This site has no Security or Encryption features at all. Meaning when you submit your account info: password, email address - the form is sent in plain text!

    I wish I hadn't signed up, not worth the risk for <$1

        I have had my Paypal account for years, and use it for business every day. They are trying to say there is either a problem with my payment method or Paypal verification.

        Think it's a cop out. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole now.

        • With all their website errors and stuff-ups (and the reps reluctance to reappear), I bet they've oversold as well. Might be why they refunded you when you queried. I think a lot will receive nothing.

          • a simple explanation why confirmation emails weren't sent on Monday as promised

          • a simple explanation why 'My orders' has not been updated to reflect payment

          • and an undertaking to improve communication, site design issues like login & making 'My orders' easier to locate, make Forgotten Password link actually work, 'My orders' include product description, etc

          Then we would think about your future offerings in a more positive light.

      Paypal do not indicate huge number of charges back, but due to high turnover the have a revolving balance and Deposit on the account.

      • That was one of the possible reasons they cited for the change in their terms for you.

    Now has actual 'Logon', up the top left. After logging on, 'My Orders' has been added. But Forgotten Password still is not working :-(

    Also my My orders has not changed from Sunday night's Awaiting PayPal Payment, and clicking invoice link just produces an error.

    I think we are due some consulting fees for the advice ;-)

      No one else has a problem with my Paypal payments.

      • You previously posted you contacted them as you did not receive order confirmation. (Did you check 'My orders' to check if order received, as I outlined before midnight Sunday?)
        As confirmation was never sent to anyone, that may have caused confusion for the business, but that is just a guess. Their English language site seems confused, so that may be a reflection of other communication.

        There may have been a simple misunderstanding on their end, thinking you were contacting them to cancel?? A bit of lost in translation. These miscommunications seem common dealing with Chinese businesses with many emails necessary to explain a simple issue, in my experience.

        Also they told you "your payment is not eligible for seller protection". I doubt that it is any different to the rest of us, just something to do with their relationship with PayPal - not personal.
        We are covered by buyer protection, so guess businesses may be covered by seller protection. That may explain the delay in changing Order Status, until funds actually were transferred to them?

        So I don't think they had a problem with your payment. My guess is they thought - I don't know why this person is upset, they must want a refund, sending a refund will make things better. Cross-cultural communication is fraught with difficulties & errors.

        Still it's only an 89c plastic device, destined to be filed away in a drawer with all those torches etc we have bought in OzBargain deals ;-)

        • Oh no, there was no misunderstanding. they were pretty clear they cancelled because no seller protection. I just asked for confirmation when I contacted them.

          I am a seller as well and do understand seller protection, but…

          I think you totally misundersood me! To say there may be some difficulties / potential for misunderstandings when doing business with a country that may have a different language/culture (even Sweden!) is racist - is totally wrong. Rather, it shows an understanding of real difficulties that can & do occur.

          I spend a fair bit of each year in Asia, often in small villages in China, Korea, Japan with no issues. (Apart from being stared at, and occasionally a mother will comfort their child with "dont worry, the Foreigner won't eat you" - and they mean it!) I have set up an education unit for our indigenous people at a university - promoting cross-cultural understanding & almost all of my university flat mates (now friends) were Asian, & I live in an area known locally as 'Swedes Hill' due to the Swedish population, in a house built by a Swede…

          I just realise there can be misunderstanding at times & gave this as a possible explanation to whodidthat. You are best positioned to explain the real reasons.

          Your response to my guess there may have been some misunderstanding in communication between whodidthat & your business just shows you do make mistakes & at times misunderstand the customer.

          Really poor. I think you need to look at your attitude, especially to future customers - I'm negging you on that basis. Needless to say I will never buy from you again. I want nothing more to do with your business.

    I will be starting a Paypal dispute.

    I've paid and received a receipt from paypay, yet my order still says "Awaiting Payment".

    Rep has been told many times, yet no action. Obvious the rep only completes a random number of orders and is a fraud. Probably explains why he has been banned from ozbargain before.

    Anyway, I'll be starting the charge back process.

          I treat deals like this as a gamble, even a laugh (when the purchase arrives).

          And no one but the biggest & cheapest Tightarse would be that worried at losing less than $1 ;-)
          (I think that's a threat to your throne, KT.)

          Most likely the trader will deliver, and we will throw the purchase in the drawer with all those other deals.

          But there have been far more issues than acceptable. Still no confirmation email, faults & design issues with site, slow/no confirmation of PayPal payment in 'My orders', errors with 'Invoice' link, faulty 'Forgotten Password' link, failed orders, etc. But the trader is improving the site, for future customers, based on our feedback. So we are contributing far more than the small payment.

          But this business/site could not handle being OzBargained.

          And these cheap deals are also a good test of whether to buy from the trader again. On that basis, I would not.

          In the electronics game, resistors are of such little value they are often just vacuumed up at the end of the day, should they fall off the bench. They are of such little value as to not be not worth the technician's time to bend over pick up and identify.

          I agree it's only $1 for me.But it's thousands to the rep when you consider all and he gains all when we all do nothing and all say "it's just a buck".

          He also posts more expensive "deals" where items are several hundred dollars. If people advise Paypal or post their experiences here, then less likely they'll be defrauded on these items as either paypal abandons him or buyers become aware of his history.

          to industry. Came to work one morning to find most stock on floor after failure of shelves. We were picking very expensive semis from our shoes.

          But stock check of resistors was measured by the kilo, they were of so little value. The cost of staff reading colour codes etc was way higher than the retail price. It would be too hard to even find SMDs. So vacuum away ;-)

          You misunderstood my concern about your site issues, very slow updating of payment status, and lack of confirmation email - as anger. I was not.

          But when you considered what I was posting was racist bs, it was very annoying, hurtful, & from my perspective unwarranted.

          I was trying to say misunderstandings in communication can be common, possibly more so when there are cultural differences. And we don't need to travel to or trade with other countries to experience that.

          I do challenge - but only to bring about improvement. People and businesses grew far richer from my challenges.

          I used to manage conflicts over misunderstanding at my University between other teachers, when I was just a student. My clients have included a Minister of Government, Prime Minister's Office of a foreign country, and others.

          I'll reserve my judgement until after we receive our orders.

  • BTW Bruce I also love the time I spent travelling in country areas in Japan. Probably like Korea a bit more though as I feel it's very easy for Aussies to get.along with Korean people (just my opinion) but I have only spent time in Seoul, mostly looking at castles and eating.
