    • Never used brand new, yet its a refurb.

  • Got the Belkin WeMo. Thanks

  • According to this http://www.wireless1.com.au/skin/frontend/default/w1lightint…

There are not many refurbished Asus TF300T-1K102A . I only see a QTY of 4

    • Well, it says 4+ meaning 4 or more I guess, doubt they would have just 4.

      • Yea I suppose you are right. Strange numbering though..

      • Yes, we definitely have more than four :)

        • Any chance of a deal on the TF300T with dock? At the moment only 10.- more then without dock

  • +1

Only 1280x800 pixels on the TF300T, not much for a 10". Price seems fair for a refurb, but nothing to set the alarm clock for. Its not new, remember. More chance of problems as they may have already been repaired. But it does have a full warranty.

    • I have a 16GB TF101 so this is a good upgrade.

  • hmmm getting ozbargained…

    • yep, website is not even loading LOL

  • damn, site is being ozbargained
have one in my cart but it wont go any further :(

  • Site was working completely fine until 7:59pm and now it can't load.

  • Yep, ozbargained alright. Had one in my cart filling out my details, shipping cost had already started to try load again and now nothing is working.
    Bugger

  • Haha. Site was ozbargained. After 3 refreshes I managed to snag one.

  • 502 Bad Gateway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stuck on Paypal payment :-(

    • GOt it!!!!

  • I have one in my cart and clicked the PayPal option but it timed out. Frustrating.

    Edit: Got one!

  • I got throught. Paid via Paypal. Paypal seems to have frozen after clicking "continue". No idea if my payment has gone through :(

    • check ur paypal

      • Seems not so… seems I needed to still 'place' the order. All good snagged one finally.

Will wait for the inevitable (sorry we over sold) emails lol.

    • Page went down a bit refresh mine just got through

  • Was thinking of getting the LG G Pad 8.3 $247.97. Is it worth more then the extra $100? I like the 8 inch size but will mainly just be using it for when I'm travelling overseas and on public transport.

  • finally got 1 thanks :)

  • It's working now. Got one via Paypal.

  • I just paid, have the receipt, but the page went blank (used Visa)

The website has no order history, but i have the visa receipt sent from Wireless 1

What should i do from here?

EDIT - i might have been lucky, it appears on the website now.

  • Says only 1 left in stock now.

  • Got one. Thanks

  • +3

Out of stock. Site jammed since 8pm. what a waste of time

  • out of stock

  • Bugger out of stock now, finally got through then wanted to change to paypal and got hit with out of stock. Oh well

  • Did anyone actually get a receipt email from Wireless1? I got the PayPal email only. It shows as processing under My Account->Orders though.

    • I got the receipt via email plus the paypal one

      • +1

Oh yeah. My email is hosted on Gmail. Gmail marked the Wireless 1 email as spam so it was in my spam folder.

Gmail has done this a few times recently for emails that really shouldn't be confused for spam. Have to check that folder more often…

Edit: Wireless 1 email arrived even before the PayPal one.

    • Yep

    • Yeah I got a receipt after my order went through

  • Argh! Had one in my cart and filled in payment details only to be greeted with a message that it was out of stock!…and yet, it's still in my cart?

    • I also have the same :(
      Damn traffic

  • Someone just posted a new one with the keyboard for 60 bucks more.

  • what a load of s h it i pushed buy now from 6pm and it would not add to cart faaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

    • Wait a sec, wasn't this ASUS sale price supposed to start from 8pm, not 6pm?
No way they going to let you add it into your cart at 6pm and then pay the sale price at 8pm.

      • +1

You can add to the cart but the price showing 279, hit refresh when 8pm and the price will change.

      • Sorry it was 6pm Philippines time 2 hours behind here, the price went down at 8pm aus time but I clicked and refreshed countless times but it would not add to cart, unless it won't add if you are overseas.

  • Not sure why I purchased this Asus tablet, or even for who, as I have no need for it.

MOst probably the fear of missing out on a bargain.

Hoping it wont have any issues.

Mite just give it away as a gift to someone.

    • I Would even pay you what you paid for, no need to gift it ;)

Really crappy sale. There can't have been that many units if they sold out within seconds. I know the sale finished at 20:15 but the page was available only for seconds. Once in the cart the item should be reserved for at least a few minutes.

    • You can't add into your cart before 8pm and expect to pay sale price after 8pm. That's cheating.

      • I added it into the cart around 8:10 and after refreshing it a million times at 8:16 i just got a message it is sold out even if i had it in my cart. Of course i do not expect to add it to the cart before the sale starts.

I got on at exact 8pm, got thru to choose Paypal as payment option, then it hung, then became unreponsive.

Opend up 3 tabs for the site.

kept refreshing, Back on site 8:09pm, made purchase via Paypal, and got receipt email from wireless1 8:11.

Im not sure i want it but got 1 anyways.

Going overseas soon, guess I can just give it away as a present.

    • Well I got one and did it at 8 o'clock, had to refresh it a few times as I was Paying with Paypal but it went through somehow.

  • I picked from the store and they offered the sale price (at 5pm). But the unit is DOA (touch screen is automatically acts weired, unable to do anything). Have to return again!

      bugger

    • Got a replacement,nice service.

  • Anyone know where i can get a good cheap keyboard/case dock. Cant seem to find anything on eb ay

  • Nexus 7 already delivered to my home earlier this morning, swift service. Shame I'm at work and can't set it up until I get home this evening.

  • So much for orders being shipped 11am next day. 2.5 days later still processing according to site.

Tried to call their number, no one picked up 3 times now.

Leaving overseas sunday 17th and i highly doubt I will get it in time.

    • Not sure where that is written but their FAQ says:
"Once your payment has been received by us, we will endeavour to have your item despatched within 1-2 working days"

      • I read it somewhere on their site re 11am.

But it has been shipped around 4:45pm this arvo.

        Should arrive in time :-)

Went and picked up my tablet in parra today. Service was awesome and manager was nice :)

  • just received my nexus 7 - doesn't come in retail box, but in an asus refurbished sealed generic box. on a quick look, mine is flawless.

    • Same here for me. Generic box that had had its security seal opened (not cut but ripped from the cardboard box. I'm happy enough - my only other real concern is if the battery is OK but that will take some days/weeks to really know.

Mine is as good as flawless to me. Screen looks fine although didn't come with any sort of screen protector to rip off so will try and get some on it as soon as I can. I'll get some sort of case too in the near future.

It's going to get the odd ding or scratch anyway.

  • Got my nexus7, good service but I notice there are some dents in the frame. Anyone else got the same thing? They are small but they kind bother me :(
Not sure if they are covered under the warranty

      Asus Refurbished Stock

      Summary:
      1. Full 12 months warranty
      2. Refurbished from Asus Aust.
      3. Near new, may have slight blemishes, in full working order.
      4. Heavily discounted, limited stock.
The Asus tablets have been fully refurbished by Asus Australia to the highest possible standards. They are NOT refurbished by a 3rd party, like some other products. They have been resealed with the manufacturers sticker on them.
The tablets are in full working order and carry a full 12 month warranty.
As they are refurbished stock, there may be very minor surface marks on them and we have inspected several units and they look like new. They have re-used the packaging to save costs and the environment, but the contents inside are in the highest possible condition.
Stock is limited, so be sure to grab these computers at heavily discounted prices.

There's also the 7 day money back guarantee.

      • +1

will still kind happy with it, I will give it a try if they are happy to replace it or no.

  • Received TF300T. No scratches/marks, looks brand new.

    • -2

Maybe you could give the post a + to say thanks.

  • Got my Nexus 7 and it has one blue dead or stuck pixel. Tried to run a pixel fixer on it and didnt remove it. Sounds like some 2013's had dead pixel issues.

From the documentation supplied they wont replace it with only 1 dead pixel

Did anyone else see this issue on theirs?

    • None I can see on mine. A single pixel should be pretty tiny but I can understand that once you know it's there it's hard not to see.

That's probably grounds for warranty but the leaflet in mine had specific refurbished clauses you might want to check first.

There's still the 7 day money back guarantee too.

      • Yeah theres a whole TFT clause and a single pixel would not be a failure. That would be on a brand new product too.

Edit: Sorry didn't read your post fully - you have already found this. 7 day money back is all you can do. It might come good on its own or with more massaging.

        • Yeah was sort of hoping it would come good. I don't think i will go for a refund, it was a damn good price and i think i can live with it. Pity its almost right in the middle of the screen.

        • @oxblood8:
Look up massaging it. Some light pressure can sometimes fix it. Sometimes they just come good (although that might be dark pixels rather the bright ones like you have)

    • My nexus 7 was so unresponsive , it took me 20 min just to type my wifi password in.

Called them , and they said they can either refund or replace it. since i really want the tablet and I have already bought the case , I choose to replace it .

Hope the replacement will work as intended, im afraid they will just give me another tablet with different kind of faulty and re-"sealed" the box.

      • That sounds pretty bad. Did you try to wipe it / factory reset?

  • +1

Great speed of postage. I wish more Australian online businesses did this.

  • Received mine this morning. Excellent condition, as new.

Booted it up and it has a mobile signal icon next to the battery indicator. It won't run the system update and it's definitely not an LTE model (no SIM tray). Might have to flash a WiFi system image tonight using fastboot.

Looks like that could've been the "issue" with my particular Nexus 7.

    • Further update: Even though this is a WiFi model, it had the 4G/LTE firmware flashed. This meant OTA updates failed.

In fact, I had to use an unbrick method to flash the WiFi firmware since other methods failed. In the end, all done and working great.

      • +1

That's strange. As "refurbished" you'd expect a firmware wipe and reflash. Mine certainly started as if completely new on 4.4.2 and upgraded itself to 4.4.3 and then 4.4.4.

Maybe they didn't go to that extreme. At the very least it means it wasn't tested properly.

  • So I got eh Asus Tf300T, now I'm trying to Unlock it but I'm getting an error eventho Im doing it with the Asus unblock app :-(
