decent deal but the kogan 16gb one was better

    • spec wise yes, Kogan deal was better. This is better if you are using a platinum card acquired through courtesy of Ozbargain and wish to double the warranty.

      • is this and kogan one NOT the 4G LTE?

  • +1

The 4G was a single sim phone, this 3G one has dual sim. This price is pretty good for the dual sim model.

  • Does this phone take a microSD card?

    • +2

Nope. You are effectively left with about 5Gb of storage space.

  • The eglobaldigitalcameras deal for the Moto G 4G surely is a better deal at $219. The offer expires today.

Silly to buy a 3G mobile while all the networks are busy expanding their 4G coverage (unless of course you live in the boonies where 3G reigns!)

4G data for bargain, you're dreaming ;). Look at how Asian using Unlimited data in Asia, feel jelly so much!!!

    • DWI deal better again - $209 delivered for the black version :) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/155535

This DSE deal is local stock though, which is worth a lot to some people :)

    • My opinion I wouldn't be comparing the 3G to the 4G model.

The 3G has the benefit of having two SIMS, being able to mix and match providers sim cards or maybe you have a provider that does really good phone calls prices and another provider that has great data rates…this is where the 3G model is handy.

The 4G has the obvious benefit of super fast data speeds along with the Micro SD slot.

You then have the differences in local and imported stock (such as warranty).

Awesome… got one from officeworks for $186.something…!! I am personally using the phone for my 2 numbers for Virgin n' Voda… No issues at all… I have seen heaps of dual phones that get hang up a lot. But with Moto no issues. i have been using this one for 6-7 months now. Decent camera. Gets u 3G but does an awesome job… at least better than getting Nokias' other chinese handsets… Purely You can't compare this phone with any other models as this i Dual SIM phone with 3G capable which is awesome….
