    A dupe?

    • Why would a Dual-Core device be interesting, ie, in 2014?

IMO, Apple needs more direct (iOS-capable) competitors…

    http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/ipad-with-ret…

It's also at Officeworks for the same price.

Well essentially cheaper at HN with $5 off discount code for new email sign up.

  • How is this a bargain?

  • Hi OP, please put 'AIR' on the title……….

that would be only then called a 'bargain'.

    • +1

is this the AIR model? I thought this is ipad 4th gen

      • +1

Apple has itself to blame for this confusion

        • -6

No, just mooreshady fail English and bad sense of humour to blame here.

  • -1

    I don't think it's AIR. It uses A6x chip, not A7.
    4th gen iPad.

    • In the photo on the HN website it doesn't look like a AIR, the sides are too wide.

It's funny that these were selling for almost the same price 11 months ago when it was the current model. Shows how little prices have moved in 11 months. I remember getting mine for around $377.15 after getting OW to price match DS.

It's certainly a deal for us!

We purchased 16 iPad's from The Good Guys less than 30 days ago for $415 each. Under their 30 day 120% price beat guarantee we will save $518, enough to purchase all our iPad cases =)

    • And the cash hit the banks yesterday!

      Good on The Good Guys.

Should i get this or get the ipad air with 6 month price protection from my credit card and hope it goes down im price (significantly) within 6 months?

    • I think there is new ipad (air 2) coming soon. so ipad air will get down.

    • Don't you have to pay an excess when claiming those things?

      • +1

No excess with price protection insurance.

If smitty has insurance with a 6 month period then I'm pretty certain it is with 28degrees, I have it too :)

They charge you a premium based on how much you owe at end of statement period, not a huge amount. So if you pay off your balance before end of statement period each month then it means you pay nothing!

I've claimed many times, no excess, no issues, quick turnaround.

        • Yup exactly … 28 degrees ;)

        • You pay HowMuch for the 28 degree card, each year…?

        • @IVI:
          $0 per year
I mainly use it for travel because of the no fee international transactions
but because i use it so rarely, i've put the price protection insurance on it so if i'm buying technology - I can use it too
(pay it off before statement period ends and its free.. otherwise its only a dollar or two)
