      I suggest that there's no such thing as 'standard' where vacuum cleaners are concerned. Even within the same brand I've seen different models with accessories that are 'incompatible by design'. Additionally, some of the Dyson accessories are powered - there's an electrical connection running down the tube that delivers power to drive a motor in the accessory itself. Getting that to work with another system would be a bit of a challenge.

      actually, you are right. but no one ever pays for RRP.

      I got my dyson dc29 at under $400. when the rrp is 700. that's why sites like this exists and flourish.

    I have had Dyson for a long time but the one i have got at the moment is definitely the last Dyson product entering my house. The quality justified the price, no it for sure doesn't anymore

    just called my local harvey norman and was offered to buy the mini turbine tool for $65 (website with 15% discount was $75)
