I got it too, but when I tried to register it said my email address was already registered. I haven't registered for this campaign, but did receive the $50 when I opened the account.

    • I got the same message :(

    • -1

why not use a different email address? I am sure [email protected] is available on hotmail.

  • +1

Yay :D Got this as an existing customer and worked for me too! + you receive no ATM fees below $200 + 2% cash back for paywave!

    • it has now changed.. or added I'm not sure.

Now if you deposit $1000 a months any atm fees are waived, kinda handy as sporting events. anyone know if it works overseas?

      • +2

I doubt it works overseas but I can't say for certain.
Just open a Citibank Plus transactions account for that purpose.

    • +1

Signing up has worked for you, as it does for a dummy account, but you'll need to wait and see if the actual offer (i.e. free $75) works :)

  • +1

I am existing OE customer and signed up, see:

    Success!

Your details have been successfully submitted. All you need to do now is deposit $1,000 (like your salary) by 31 October 2014 to receive the $75 bonus.

    • Just did the same and received the same message as an existing OE customer. A little gutted that I wasn't able to extend my 5% cashback reward but still satisfied with having 2% back :)

  • +2

Worked for me, hope I get the 75. Thanks OP

  • Is this targeted and you have to have received an email to be eligible?

    • +1

The link is generic so I don't think it's targeted. But as someone posted above, if you already participated in other campaign, it might not let you in, worth a try anyway.

    • +1

just enter your details and see if it accepts you! (should work if you're existing)

  • +6

Finally, something nice for the existing customer.

  • I got the email too. Pretty insane deal! :)

  • The gift that keeps on giving

  • +1

Existing customer, didn't received the email, but was able to register via the link OP provided.
    Thanks OP :)
    Hope will get $75.

    • -3

That's for new customers. This is an exploit for existing customers.

      • +5

I got this email. It's hardly an exploit when they're emailing us this offer.

        • Not all of us have received the e-mail, which leads me to say that it's targeted, but they haven't properly restricted it.

I did not receive the e-mail and this offer doesn't appear in my list of 'offers' in their online system. Out of curiosity as much as anything else I submitted my details and it seemed to accept them.

  • +7

The web site states you need to enter a unique code from the email you received to be eligible for the offer, yet the form below only asks for name, email and mobile number. I entered my details and the application appears to have been successful, even though this won't be confirmed until November.

I have a feeling ING have messed up this offer. I didn't receive a targeted email with code yet was still able to apply. I wouldn't be surprised if ING rejected many of the claims from existing customers: "The $75 bonus payment offer is only available to new Orange Everyday customers"

    • Should be sweet, there are separate links to this offer for the new and existing customers and the one for the existing customers doesn't mention opening an account or being a new customer.

  • +6

Do I have to keep $1000 in the account until Oct 31?
Or can I withdraw the money the next day after deposit?

    • +2

I'm wondering the same thing too..

    • +1

Anyone found out the answer yet?

    • +2

My guess is you can withdraw the next day. i move in $2k for the 5% cash back offer then move out $1.5K the next day

    • Just says deposit by the date, doesn't say the money has to stay there (i.e. have a balance of $x at date y).

  • Thanks OP!

  • +1

I am the existing customer and had already registered it at the beginning of the last month, but so far haven't got the $75 bonus :(

Coz this is only available to new Orange Everyday customers

  • +5

what if you are participating in the 5% cash back offer and apply for this? does the 5% get canceled out for 2%?

    • This is what I want to know.

  • I didn't get this email, but I registered and it confirmed… wonder if it will actually pay up.

If it does it would be pretty sweet because ING has been my daily account for 6 months and I already have my salary put in anyways for the 2% paywave and ATM fee waivers.

  • +4

But it says "The $75 bonus payment offer is only available to new Orange Everyday customers"

    • Because you are trolling… They don't charge any fees that line simply means they can winthdraw the offer at any time.

  • Successfully registered as an existing customer but I won't hold my breath. It also told me I needed to enter a unique code from an email I would receive but it hasn't arrived yet.

  • +2

Says in the email to enter a unique code but I rang them up and was told that wasn't needed. I received this email at 4:40PM Sydney time.

  • +3

I just entered some dummy info and it registered successfully. Anyone can register but it doesn't mean you qualified for the promo.

    • It specifically mentions: "Enter the same personal details you used on your Orange Everyday application"

So what's the point of entering dummy info that doesn't like to an account, where will they deposit the cash.

      • +2

LOL I was just testing to see whether there is any validation when you register.

      • +1

The point is to check if they're validating for applicable accounts. Since dummy info gets through, we don't know if we'll get that $75, regardless of OPs success claim.

      • Make sure you enter the same mobile number that you used to register the account with. That's how they know which account to credit to.

      • The fact that it "registered successfully" for dummy info probably means it's a generic submission message

    • Great, wait for dummy $75 to appear soon in your dummy account :-)

They match the info you enter to find the right account and deposit there…

that means diddly squat. getting paid the bonus is another matter

    • have you received any email after confirmation? Totally nothing for me.

  • +2

Ya this title should really be for "NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY".

Getting the success message after putting in your information means nothing, T&C's clearly state you much be a new customer.

    • +3

I'm new, only opened in January

    • The T&C on the page is different from what I received in the email.

I opened my account 3 years ago and haven't used it for at least 6 months.

      In the email, it says:

      $75 Bonus Payment Offer
The $75 bonus payment offer is limited to one account per customer (including joint accounts). The $75 bonus payment will be credited to your Orange Everyday within 6 weeks after conditions of the offer as stated above have been satisfied. A tax liability may exist with the payment of the bonus payment. This $75 bonus payment offer is not available in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

Whereas on the webpage, it says it's for new Orange Everyday customers only.

The $75 bonus payment offer is only available to new Orange Everyday customers and is limited to one account per customer (including joint accounts).

Considering that the page also mentioned that "unique code" thing which doesn't exist, I suspect the page is outdated.

I'm not too worried as I received the email which shows my full name in the email body including T&C section as well. However, if you didn't get the email, it's hard to tell if they will honour it or not.

      • -1

The quote from your e-mail says nothing about new or existing customers…so not sure how it relates.

I hope it works, trust me, but I will be SHOCKED if existing customers who have used the account before are granted the money.

  • great if it works OP!

  • It let me register even though I don't have any ING accounts, presumably I can sign up for one and qualify for the $75?

  • Great if it works, got the success email

    • +1

What email did you get? I registered my details successfully, but no email.

  • Cool just opened an account (I'm actually a genuine new customer) and submitted the offer form. Will cycle $1100 through the account and hopefully get my free $75.

  • +5

I got an error when registering so gave them a call. Guy said there are multiple $75 offers at the moment. I know one is for new customers and one is for existing. Not sure if there are any more.

However he did say they are validating all registrations and his first question was if I received an offer email that had been forwarded from a friend, i.e an offer targeted to someone else. While this is not the case for me I did get the impression that people signing up willy nilly might not see the $75 at the end of the day. Just a heads up. I could be wrong.

  • I don't think it'll work. I used different mobile and email address to register with my real name, and the register was successful, but how does the system gonna recognise me and put the money in my account, if my phone number and email address doesn't match. To test it further, I put Stjames Hospital as the name, it still come up with success.

  • +1

Will bounce $1000 between my many dormant ING accounts…. ding, ding, ding!

    • ING's T&C usually state the $1k deposit must come from a non ING account.

      • +2

Ta - will bounce back and forth from a third party account.

        • usually NAB since they have a fee free account :D

    • muncan,
your 2012 statement shows you received 30% bonus interest on your $100 on 4/7 - well done.
But the following transaction (the line above) shows you received a further $100 or 77% bonus interest on top of your $130 for a new balance of $230 on 3/7 (the previous day? - something dodgey here).
And following that, on the 28/7 you took your loot out.

My question here is - did the bonus interest come from an ING Maximiser account/s ?

      • There were two bonus payments that were active at the same time: $30 for your first deposit & $100 for your first $100 deposit. Yeah these were Savings Maximizer offers. Could have pulled out sooner if I was paying more attention!

        • Nice

  • Sorry guys but a newbie here,

I have CBA accounts (zero fees because I'm a student) and have $1000 to spare, would it be possible to make an ING account, deposit the $1000 and transfer the $1075 at the next month back to my CBA?
(How would I cancel my ING afterwards?)

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

  • Hope they can validate the details I entered. Thanks OP.

  • nice!

  • I wonder from what date they consider an account to be 'New'. I will give it a shot. Worth the 5 minutes work.

  • When you deposit $1k now (before October) you effectively qualify for the 2% cash back and free ATM use in September. Seems like an effective way to attract more customers who will likely stay.

Is it a lump sum of 1000 or can it be multiple

  • website down?

    http://ingdirect.com.au/75bonus

    Cannot connect to the website

    Please make sure:

    • You have entered the correct URL.
    • You are connected to the Internet.
    • Your firewall is properly configured.
    • The website is not encountering any technical problem at the moment.

    Error code 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT)

    • Wtf? How did I become "associated"?

      BTW works for me

    • Have you checked you are connected to the Internet?

      • +8

Must be on the Liberal's NBN

    • Well that link certainly puts a different perspective on it!!

  • Payment to take "up to 6 weeks" that's a long time to go without spending my salary :D

    • +2

It said you need to deposit $1000. It never said you need to keep it in there until payment.

  • T&C change?

The $75 bonus payment offer is only available to new Orange Everyday customers and is limited to one account per customer (including joint accounts). The $75 bonus payment will be credited to your Orange Everyday within 6 weeks after conditions of the offer as stated above have been satisfied. A tax liability may exist with the payment of the bonus payment. This $75 bonus payment offer is not available in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

    • +2

      1) create new ING Orange Everyday account (specify that you're a new customer)
      2) enter your details in the deal link
      3) transfer $1000 to your new ING account from a non-ING account
      4) when $1000 received in new account, transfer it back to your regular account
      5) set calendar reminder for 6 weeks to check ING account for $75 bonus
      6) goto 1

  • How does ING Direct connect your registration to your bank account? The registration step does not ask for your account details…

    • The link from 'Turd' above states "To receive the $75 bonus payment you must be a new Orange Everyday customer and FIRST register your details below. THEN open an Orange Everyday by 10 October 2014 and deposit $1, 000 (like your salary) by 31 October 2014".

[Love Heart] OZB & ING 4EVA! [/Love Heart]

  • Odd. I signed up and put my details into this form and within an hour or two I got an email from ING with a $100 The Iconic gift card. Anyone else get that?

  • +1

Hmm, is this orange account actually better than CBA Smart access account ? I'm only exempted from fee as a student.

  • Works for me

  • I am getting "Sorry, the email address you have entered has already been registered."

  • +1

Should deposit be via external bank transfer or cash despoit would suffice too.

  • +1

Registered all my three cards and transferred 3 x $1000, now wait to see what's going to happen next. Thanks OP.

    • You have three separate Everyday accounts?
      You win Ozbargain!

      • I have four. They all have the same email address, so I'm not sure which one is registered…

    • the T&C says limited to one account per customer, including joint accounts.

      • T&C also states for new customer only, so what, there are hardly any new ING customers on OZB. We are just trying our luck for losing nothing.

    • Didn't receive any as existing clients.
