I see what you mean but I think it is a great thing that they are doing. I have grabbed a few things from them recently. Their ps4/Xbone games are cheaper then import prices recently as well.

grabbed a display model of Macbook Pro Retina 15 late 2013 Core i7 256GB for $1599, nothing wrong and new as, the only thing I am working on is asking Apple to put warranty on and they still not getting back to me yet after I disagreed with them about 'ex demo has no warranty' response (I got a display model iMac before and got 24 month warranties, the proof is I just had my hard drive replaced without any cost after 20 months of using it). Any idea guys to make Apple kick in the warranty or I just ask DickSmith to do it for me? Thank you
Does the catalogue code on your receipt start with a J or XA? Also, does it explicitly say exDEMO on the receipt in the description?
hi, it's XA1164 and exDEMO on it, DickSmith confirmed with 12 month warranty from them but I expect Apple warranty too since I might travel overseas with this laptop for few months. Also, I did not have any problem at all with an exDEMO iMac purchased on Dec 2012, had the hard drive replaced without cost at Apple Robina recently
