Discounts with the manager at dan murphys can be difficult since their margins are already very low.
But you can definitely pay using gift cards at dan murphys. I did this for alcohol for my wedding.
Not sure about discounts but definitely go into a store and speak to the manager about what you'd like to order. They can and will help you out. The bigger order, the better lol.
I wouldn't expect any (or big) discounts on things like beer though. Wine and possibly spirits will be the avenues to chase for any good deals. And yes, you can use gift cards :)

Yeah likewise. Hoping that everything starts to get a move on after 9am. So far the claim of "We’ve listened to your feedback and given a full scale refresh of our website, making improvements to make it faster and easier for you to receive your order" isnt really accurate!
Guys dont think ecard is worth the risk especially for masters sale today. I thought delivery would be instant. Now I risk my item on masters selling out.

I no longer buy giftcards from the entertainment book as it takes them 6-8 weeks for delivery.

The problem is there is no-one to call. Its just an email form. When i did get transferred to the gift card department they really couldnt tell me much. What should be the next plan of attack?

I placed three orders. The first one $ 50 paid by my own credit card has been delivered and I got it from email (approx 6 hours after placing the order).
Other two orders ($ 400 each) paid by my friend's credit card are still "payment pending".
I'm not sure what's the reason.
Could be: 1. the order amount is large and the orders need to be double checked. or 2. paid by my friend's credit card.

I did have troubles with my first WISH card order. Took several reminders for them to send the cards. But they did finally arrive.
Update: Just got told from the people at 028885 0000 that the payment has been rejected. The money has been taken but will be returned tomorow as it was a pre-auth. Reason being that code was considered invalid and had to be done through the RACQ website.

The e-cards are a pain the butt.
The cashiers never know how to use it. Couldn't use it at Caltex and Masters had to call the supervisor to be taught what to do…. At least the lady at Masters did try (unlike Caltex)Also, yeah they're not instant - Mine took at least 6 hours when I bought one a few months ago

Guys i also called woolworths. the payment will be rejected. Just got told from the people at 028885 0000 that the payment has been rejected. Did anyone get e-gift cards for a smaller ammount and it was accepted? Maybe it was the size of the voucher that determined if they let it through to the keeper or not?
