Yes but they offer you the benefit of layby payments so you don't need to pay for it all up front.
No, YOU offer them the benefit using your money for nearly a whole year and then let them charge you a ridiculous price.
If you take the weekly amount each week to your bank you will have the money after maybe 40 weeks together and not 52 as it would take you with them.

How is this a bargain? The convenience of low weekly instalments does not constitute a bargain. Hell, people would be better off getting a credit card with an extortionate interest rate rather than your layby system.
THey would need to offer a 30% voucher to meet HN prices and that says it all
