  • Saw this in my inbox, but I don't get why the fine print says "Fares indicated are for one-way travel…" and further down it says again "One-way fares…". Thinking I may need to wait til 7am to do a test run and see if the price is one-way or return.

    • I thought the same but their usual Gold Coast to Singapore fare is $199, so you're just paying tax on the return leg.

  • Not a bad price for the Tuesday Morning deal, usually only $10 off ($169 each way)

Was $129 PER-SIN last Tuesday which came down to $116 with the jetstar price guarantee. Jetstar have the better flight times-scoot arrive close to midnight from memory. With the jetstar price guarantee you are not charged the credit card fee either so it's win win win

    Need Melbourne….

    • Yeah.. wheres melbourne, but oh well i already booked with jetstar

  • Sounds attractive!

Where can a family of 6 stay if planning to spend some time on Sentosa?

    • you can stay at the casino, Resort World Sentosa, if you dont mind paying for some luxury. Universal Studios and Underwater World are nearby for easy access.

      • Tbh no need to stay on Sentosa, MRT makes it so easy to get there from city centre.

        • thanks for your replies!

FYI I had scoot cancel a flight (and only offer a 7 day credit or something) on me for this October. They played the "terms and conditions" card on us when trying to get a refund, took a bit of "Aus consumer law" .etc to get our money back. Flying jetstar now.

Due to this previous experience I'm gonna have to neg. Flown plenty with Air Asia and never had any issues.

Saying that, with these cheap fares I'd guess the plane will be full, canning the flight would seem unlikely.

I used Scoot's pricing last time and got Jetstar to price-match. Saved 10% and got much better flight times and connections.

      • fudge, wish I thought of that..

Had multiple delays and bad customer service from this airlines. I am actively boycotting this airlines. Same for my family.

      • Not sure why the negs, I'd rather know if people have had issues myself.
        Oh well.. such is OZB.

People are negging you because you gave the deal a -1. It is clear the community disagree with you and have thus acted appropriately, removing your vote from the deal.

If you can find another airline offering the same fare (or anywhere to SE Asia) cheaper (or the same price), then please post it here.

Then your neg will be warranted.

          @Mikeologos:

I thought I gave a fair reason as to why I negged, after all I was just trying to let people know what could go wrong. No biggie.

I never attacked the price. It's a good deal, just not for me (and a couple of others).

        • @fiend: yep same here. I think this airlines sucks donkey balks. But I guess for a cheap deal it will be ok for others. Anyway I remove the neg if it offends people so much.

  • Does Air Asia price match? I just checked the Jetstar flights for my dates and they seem to all have multiple stopover and take twice the time as scoot.

Flew Gold Coast to Singapore at the start of August. Nothing but good things to say about Scoot. Paid about $50 extra for an exit row seat. Awesome leg room and nobody sitting next to me. Will fly again.

A lot of the cheap seats (in the lead up to Christmas) have already been snapped up for the route I was interested in. Supply was obviously very limited.

  • +1

Does it automatically show just the tax on the return flight to Sydney? Cant seem to see any return fare dates before 31 Dec 2014 which add up to $311?
or is it very limited fares which has been snapped up already?
