  • which costco is this from?

    • Purchased from Melbourne Costco

  • Did they have any longer hose lengths?

    • Best thing to do is to unwind them an measure them instore.
They can vary by up to a foot…

      • Hot tip, I'm sure the staff at Costco will appreciate your suggestion too

    • Only 20m Im afraid

    upgraded spray gun (with trigger)

There is no trigger in your link…

    • Read the description

  • I picked one of these things up very similar to this Costco version from ALDI in 20metres for $69 on Saturday.

They still had some at the Canon Hill store in QLD if anyone interested.

Other stores may have stock also.

      Good points:

      •Swivel wall attachment .
      •Carry handle.
      •Child-lock mechanism.
      •Provision for padlock.
•The hose is easy to pull out.
•It’s very easy to move the hose assembly from one location to another.
      Bad points:

•The hose can snap back quickly if yanked and then released suddenly.

      • That makes it a good deal then.

But for the sake of saving $22 (30% difference) Id still go with ALDI because they haven't let me down yet.

    • Bought one of these at Aldi Loganholme. They had about 8 units left. Quality of reel and hose looks good for the money. Only came with bolts for fixing to masonary, so will need to buy screws for fixing to timber.

Saw this at Costco auburn last week as well

  • i called up Costco & they mentioned its $99.99 (inclusive of GST). Can someone send through receipt/proof of purchase that they got it for $90?

    • My receipt says $99.99 - $10.00 Store coupon. So its actually 89.99 if you pay with card.

I checked out the downloadable coupons & can't find that. where can you get that coupon?

  • This close up reel, just wondering, is it prone to trap spiders and other creepy crawlers?

  • A Real Ausbarginer saves his $90 and rolls his own hose up!

    • time = money. you could be back on OZB a minute faster!

    • Usually do - but then I left it for a few moments while I went upstairs to make a pie and crack a cold one and when I came back down my dog had chewed it!

      No more..

  • just sharing with you all my experience, i bought one of this from Masters a while back, paying a lot more. The autoroller don;t often works! sometimes, it takes longer just to get it to roll all back. so my personal opinion is, not worth it. too bad it has passed 30 days by the time i notice problem, so can;t return it. But with Costco, you can always return it anytime.

    • I bought a Repco one some time back, and same "newbie" problem like you.
What I learnt, and I think it applies to all of them. You have to wait for the "click click" noise. Thats the locking mechanism. Let go of the hose when you hear that - it is now locked. Pull the hose out until you hear no more clicking noise and it should auto roll back nicely.

Anyway, as for 30 days Masters. You can still take it back, even 2 years later. It should be guaranteed by then.
