    • What about the $5 wraps?

      • Dunno sorry

      • "What about the $5 wraps?"

No dice on the wraps. It's simply not a wrap deal. You could try and claim relative similarity, but the dudes wielding the power would be having none of it, I'm sure… And fair enough really, I mean, where would the whole "drawing similarities" game end? I reckon there's only about 6 "degrees of similarity" between a $2 sanga in 7/11 and a cheap spouse from a developing country. And 7/11 does not even sell spouses. ERGO, as soon as they entertain the "close enough, let's make a deal" route, they're asking for "trouble-and-strife"… so they won't.

Can confirm, wraps are indeed $2.

    • do they make it clear that they are $2?? my 7/11 are a bit stingy with promos sometimes. They look good value.

    • +1

The dude at our local 711 said it applied to the $5 ones only (the poster didn't mention any exclusions)

      • He's stingy. I just went to my local, got a big fill $7 RRP and a roast chicken avo for $4 total

        Ask them to scan it.

        • +2

          "Ask them to scan it."

And if that fails, tell 'em to jam it!

Firstly $1 coffees now $2 sandwiches. Local cafes are really going to struggle. As much as i like these bargains, i can't help feeling sorry for cafe owners who try to make a living.

    • +1

They're only going to struggle on Wednesdays, 7-11 struggles every other day lol

Have you tried their coffee though? Not quite the same as the ones from the cafe

  • Tried the ham cheese and tomato and found it surprisingly good. Definitely worth it for a quick, easy lunch.

Just had the roast chicken and avocado one and it was delicious

  • Yep, they are actually really good sangers, which was a genuine surprise to me when I first had one… and I suppose is why they're running this promo. And I don't feel sorry for the local cafes. They're quite within their rights to try peddling soft-porn mags, C-grade budget coffee, and upselling tic-tacs and life-savers to every poor bleary-eyed sap that walks in, in bitter retaliation…

  • It's on again. I wonder if it starts from midnight? I'm hungry

Was looking forward to the second week of $2 sandwiches, but was a bit disappointed when they had dismal selection, even went to another 7-eleven with similar results.

    Overall, still good for $2.

The service station stores seem to have the biggest range. Lots of the $7 range at the one I went to.

  • So what's in the $7 ones? I only get saw the $5 ones. They had a good stock of them (Service station). Wish the avocado one had pieces rather than the tiny amount you get in a spread version.

Good way to get the sandwich snobs to try them rather than pay the ripoff price at some CBD shops for the same thing.

They are bigger and have more ingredients. Read the poster this week though and now it says excludes big full range :( so only $5 range now.didnt like the egg and lettuce, very bland with cheap white bread. Chicken and avocado is probably the best, though I agree the avocado spreads is nowhere near as good as real pieces.

  • Arrhhhhhhhh I keep on forgetting to call in and get some :(

  • thanks..

Looks like this offer is over/expired now (Not on today at my local store)

    • Yep, was told it ended last week. :(
