Meh. Works out to be $50-$70 per kilo for toppings. Ridiculous prices…

  • these type of yoghurt shops are popping up everywhere. Weren't they a fad in the US ten years ago, actually more, twenty years ago when Seinfeld was being aired, and now getting pushed here.

On the Gold Coast I see one pop up, close down a few months later then another opens close by. Hardly see any customers.

20% sugar on the plain yoghurt, I guess the flavoured ones will be higher and although the website says they list the nutritional info for all yoghurts and toppings in actual fact they only tell you about the plain yoghurt.
I guess it makes a nice desert but far from a healthy type food.

and 30% off the price is decent (but I have no idea of what the prices are).

    • All the hipsters that frequented these places when they were popular have found even more hipster things to do: weekend markets, searching for the worlds best gelato, joining ISIS etc.

$10 minimum before or after discount?

Mate. A kilo of strawberries at Coles right now is $7 your getting them at wholesale pricers, so it's even cheaper.

They've got to make a profit somewhere. + labour costs + rent

      • A kilo of mince beef is only $12kg in Coles. Maybe skip on Maccas and make your burger…

Now… all we have to do is find a kilo of big mac sauce and that weird little centre bread bit?

Surprised these yoghurt places haven't gone away yet.

There was once about 6 of them on King St, Newtown in Sydney.

    Now's there's 2 or 3 only.

  • This stuff is so expensive it's insane, tasty though (full of sugar?)

    • yes, lotsa sugar.

    • They are probably already there, "legally" quicker than most cars on the road ;-)

  • $10 minimum spend before discount is too much, unless you're eating with other people.

No deal for me. Stuff like this is a SMALL treat for myself, and even with friends we don't eat much.
