    • I paid my order by Dick gift card, order got cancelled but I can't use that gift card anymore. Any idea how they can refund the gift card?

        I paid with Woolies Gift Card a while back. Order was never dispatched. I complained & was told my credit card would be refunded. But they also cancelled a current order. Complained by email again about 2 orders now not delivered, and payment for both by gift card, not credit card. They said I would be contacted… took 3 months before they refunded by Dick Smith Gift Card.

        I currently have 2 $10 Gift Card & 91c stylus that only have order acknowledgment, and shows deduction against my Woolies Gift Card, but nothing more :-( And 1 of those GCs was changed by DS to Click & Collect!

    before everyone starts complaining to accc can you just be patient? the delivery time on the webpage clearly stated 3-5 days and it's barely been a day yet.
    i bet they've got hundreds of orders to go through and sort out which will take time, especially if their website was struggling. they have your order details and paypal invoices. just chill out.

      Coming from someone that has already received 10+ cards whilst others are still waiting for their first. You would be equally unhappy if you had not received a single one of your orders.

    • problem is i ordered 6 cards and have been charged from my bank account.

      But only received 1 email confirmation/digital code. nothing happened for the other 5, not even an order acknowledgement :(

  • Are these physical giftcards in the mail or Digital Online Giftcards?

    Shall I wait for the postie or if I don't have the digital giftcard email it has not worked?

    I had several paypal failures during the checkout process.

      • I did, nothing there….received and order confirmation that says it takes 3-5 days… also received invoice, but so far no giftcard in sight. Little bit suspect due to paypal errors received.

    So I finally received an email with my digital giftcard. 1 out of the 2, so I'll be putting through a PayPal dispute to get my refund on the 2nd one.

    So far received 3. 2 were just received half hour ago..

      • all of mine have arrived, including the one i didn't get an order confirmation for, and several that i couldn't get to link to my account due to the heavy traffic on website.

      • 6 ordered.

        1 received order confirmation then later digital code, invoice and delivery notification.
        2 received digital code, invoice and delivery notification, no order confirmation.

        Nosw still waiting the other 3 coming…

        • I just receive 2 delivery notification, but no digital code… Too bad!

    1st invoice.
    2nd email my gift card link.
    3rd email to say gift card has been posted.

    I just got an email from DSE (after sending them a query on the day of the deal) saying that they should have all gift cards sorted by COB tomorrow. Anyone who has lodged a dispute with Paypal will have their order cancelled, but he said there are 130 or something that will be processed today/tomorrow.

    • They didn't process my two. As of today, the money is back on my credit card.

    • Sent DS an email today about last missing gift card from deal the day before this one. Somehow they changed delivery to Click&Collect. Only have order acknowledgment & proof of payment. Got 4 within a day of order, & 1 last week.

      Charged $5 to my 5% off Woolies Gift Card - which does make refunds difficult. I emailed Woolies Gift Cards for my transactions history as proof it was charged.

      The wait for a response begins. Last time there was a stuff up & failed to deliver an order, they cancelled another order by mistake, then took months to refund both orders paid by Woolies GC - by DS Gift Card.

      • DS replied order had been processed ages ago. Asked if I had received Gift Card. My complaint was I never received it or got shipping or invoice emails. Asked them to resend the gift card they say was sent. Waiting for their response.

        Also asked about undelivered 91c stylus. Again no delivery or invoice, just order acknowledgment. DS have now sent invoice & say will be dispatched soon.

        DS just replied within an hour…
        We apologies for the inconvenience.
        I already escalated this one to my supervisor so that we can check if the card has already been emailed.
        I will get back to you for status update within 24hrs.

  • I got 1 confirmation today out of 3. I emailed them twice now with no reply to either email and called them once and the operator could not help. I am glad some people have received theirs. Fingers crossed I get mine sorted out.

    • Been complaining by email for a while now over 1 missing Gift Card. Latest is the "team" are still investigating & I can have a refund now. I responded that as I paid by Woolies Gift Card, they would need to refund in DS Gift Card anyway, so send the $10 gift card instead of only a $5 one.
      Back to waiting.

      • Are you finding when they send your orders that the order number matches up with the initial order placed? The order numbers I'm receiving are different, making it impossible to tell which orders have and have not been fulfilled.

        • Mine match. Noticed as they sent one asking for the order number, which was in the subject line of their email! Hopeless.

        • @brucefromaustralia: My last 4 don't match. Don't know what's going to happen if I have to chase up missing gift cards. It will be a nightmare.

          I have the same issue. So confusing as I bought some each of the three purchases and each time some were not delivered. Utter cluster fork trying to decipher replacement ones from failed orders as the order numbers do not match up.

          Yes two of them, had to send PayPal screenshots.Slow and painful process for$10. Their phone system auto hangs up on you with many of the menu options.

  • I received the 2 gift cards I purchased, first I contacted their facebook page and sent them screen shots of both paypal receipts, they requested more information and I sent it through to them and mysteriously two days later I received the emails with the gift cards. My suggestion is just keep bugging them

    • What extra information dis they require? King Tightarse mentioned only PayPal screenshots were required.

      My case was they charged my paypal, but I didn't receive any gift card or order number (incomplete checkout process)

      • That's exactly what I got…still pursuing it over email with them. They are beyond useless at replying..usually after 3-4 emails they bother to.

    • "we would like to offer you a refund upon your request" bullshit - they say they refunded anyway, despite my request not to!

      Received this today
      "We apologize for the inconvenience.
      We already processed the refund. 
      Once it is approved, your fund will return to your account within 3-5 business days or depends on your financial institution."

      Only problem - I paid by Woolies Gift Card. DS previously told me they can't refund back to those & took months to arrange a refund.

      Probably will refund my $10 Gift Card order with a $5 Gift Card :-(
      What a total waste of time.
