    That just means OP hasn't added their referral link to their account, because if they had, it would appear 'first' automatically. See the wiki.

      OK well here's another thing… why was any referral link added, when to get this deal you need to already be an existing member? In other words, it is not possible to click on the referral link, sign up, and get this deal.

        Again, from the wiki, as COTD is one of the "merchants that support referral links, you will see a grey box at the bottom of the post." Any deal posted from a merchant in that list will have the referral box automatically added.

        Yes I understand what you're saying, that referral sign-ups don't apply to this deal as you need to be an existing member. As stated in the wiki page, the current referrals set-up is currently in beta testing and there is a link to a forum thread if you want to provide feedback.
