  I like heaters. They make marketing very truthful for once - very hard to conceal the fact that this contraption uses 2000W an hour. This $5 contraption will cost the user over $300 a year in electricity.

      Around 50c/hr in WA.

      Each watt of standby power costs $2/year.

        Yes, about 65c/hr in Northern NSW.
        Or over $5 for 8 hrs. If you use it for 3 months during the winter, it would put $450 onto your bill. :-(
