    What we mean by "free for the life of the account" is that is's for as long as you keep the account active. There is not time frame attached.

    can i get this hosting and move another domain i have to it? What fees do i have to pay?

    And what happens to the email accounts attached to the domain? Are they moved over w/o disruption?

    Hi walugi,

    You can add 1 add on domain to the hosting account, fee's depend on what type of domain it is you're transferring.. International domains such as .com, .net incur a transfer charge of $19.95 however this also extends the registration period by 1 year. .com.au domains can usually be transferred free of charge.

    Regarding transferring the email accounts, you will need to do this yourself, we dont provide support on these plans however we do offer tutorials and also our Forum is open for community support =)

    Ijan,

    1) you have options for .moari.nz but it should be .maori.nz

    2) when I choose a domain name that is available, as a (random) example "skjbsdajsdba" with .com.au it says it is unavailable, yet other websites state "skjbsdajsdba.com.au" is available.
    Can .com.au domains be registered as part of this process?

    Thanks for pointing this out we have corrected the spelling of maori. Domain registration is available and customers have been using the feature during sign up so i'll have to get someone to look further in to that for us. Do you have any other examples can also pass on?

      any random characters, such as "ygsgss" when chosen with com.au/net.au/org.au domain return as 'unavailable' but are available with com/org/net/info/etc.
      Seems to be the .au's return as unavailble no matter what i put in there.

    I think it's cool that you're offering free accounts (really I do) but there's always this lingering thought in the back of my mind telling me to be cautious. I'm definitely going to stay tuned but I will suggest a friend take a look at the offer and see how it goes.

    Awesome bargain though :D

    EDIT: You know what, I might sign up for this myself and see if I can play around with some PHP scripts and MySQL. who knows I might even learn something :)

    I couldn't register for any domain expect from a subdomain.

    I was getting the same "unavailable" error message battler was having.

    I cant vouch for these guys. They are a fast reliable Oz based host.

    Only thing i would check would be the excess usage as the Goggle spiders alone may crawl well more than a gig depending on your site and content

    We're looking in to the domain issue, hopefully will have it fixed in the morning. You're welcome to sign up for an account now using a sub domain and once the domain registration iusse it fixed we'll update your account to the new domain for you.

    We are getting through most of the sign ups, if your account isn't setup tonight it will be tomorrow during business hours. Any accounts that have multiple orders will be canceled however you can sign up for another account.
