    Also the 4TB for $169.15

    • Backup Plus rather than normal Expansion one too. Good price.

      • Are the internal drives in the backup plus any different to the expansion?

I have found the expansion drives to be not suitable for constant use such as time machine.

  • No stock for 4TB :(

  • yeah I bought the 3TB Backup Plus USB3.0 version 2.5 years ago for $145,
I'm amazed prices have not dropped as much as other PC parts,
but nonetheless, I'll only get the "Backup Plus" version.

    • Wow! Yours was pretty cheap compared to my one cost me $179, normal 3TB Desktop USB2.0 at that time.

      Where did you get yours???

  • It's interesting that on DS website it says "THAT'S 15% OFF! NO FURTHER DISCOUNTS APPLY." while you can still use another coupon code

I was curious to know how much difference of the price between this one and my old one so i managed to find my invoice for my current Desktop Hard Drive which is a Seagate Desktop 3TB as well except it's only USB2.0, old model and cost me $179 on 21 Apr 2012 from MSY. Not half price yet!!Lol…

This is quite a good price, although not as good as the 3TB drive for $70 from Australia Post in May 2013.

I'd love to take advantage of the above Aust Post offer, unfortunately I haven't mastered the art of time travel. :)

  • Is this the cheapest price of this model??

    About $36/TB.
