While I love a sunburnt country, I find it rather unpleasant myself, so I take these bad boys camping, to the beach, birthday parties in the park and even in the back yard. They are an excellent gazebo. They are particularly well suited to being set up side-by-side making quite large covered areas (I do this most camps I go on). This price is sensational, but requires a free BCF club membership.

  • Be very careful in the wind.
Ensure all 8 ropes are attached and remain in the ground.
Mine was damaged after the pegs slipped out of the muddy ground and the wind collapsed it.

    • +1

Same goes for any gazebo really. I've actually found these have stayed up in the wind where others in the campsite have flexed in two.

  • Much effort required to set up/take down? Okay to Bbq from within? (I have a Baby Weber/love it).
Would you dare say… leave it up for a couple of weeks at a time? Or bad idea?

I would be setting up in fairly well sheltered area of small back yard.
Looks like you'd need to bend down a little when entering/exiting as the perimeter edges dip down a bit.

    • I'd probably skip leaving anything like this up for weeks at a time out unless necessary. I did exactly that - left a Coleman Gazebo setup for a few weeks, and in the end the sun damage made the fabric brittle and I put my finger through the roof while putting it down one time. It was probably up a few times for a couple of weeks each go.

  • Very good price. But online order only. no click and collect. Postage cost to 2148 $5.52 comes up to $104.52 for me. price is still very good though.

    • In Melbourne it's telling me that it's 'in store only', which is exactly what I didn't want…

  • how high is this thing?
