  • In before all those Sanyo vs Panasonic fan wars…..

    I reckon it doesn't actually matter…

    • In regard to Eneloop, tests have shown that the Chinese version we get, is only good for 400 cycles. I havent seen test results on mah, or current delivery capability but it will be down too it would appear. It certainly will be after 100 or so cycles anyway.

These numbers are not absolute but they show that the batteries, along with the official 65% claimed retention of energy over 5 yrs which is lower than the same current but Japanese version, which is 70%, suggesting there are inferiority issues.

      • Wow, if this is true, then even the copies such as the Enitime and Aldi Rechargables will be better than these.

        • Keep in mind the genuine Japanese batteries will not do 2100 cycles with the method of testing used, but in the testing done, the Japanese batteries had 800 cycles on them. But its the same method used to test the Chinese batteries so the comparison is fair.

Thanks for giving as an ozbargain special and being open to suggestions

It would be great to see 10% on iPads and iPhones + good discounts on games. Understand it was a clearance but the 1/2 price on Wii U's and accessories last year was really good.

Also, any chance DSE might be able to start selling these Fujitsu NiMH rechargeables (http://ru.nkon.nl/4-aa-fujitsu-nimh-batteries-in-case.html)?

Hi, could you get the nexus 6 and sell it at a reasonable price, given the previous generation was about half the current gens price? Just a suggestion thanks.

      • A really good tablet or Kindle deal. Like, I'd buy both straight away if there was something amazing.

      • Any Christmas deals on Samsung 4K UHD TVs?

      • 15% off storewide, no exclusions.

But to be fair, we do really like batteries.

  • if the dates haven't changed on the fujitsus then it should be jul 2019.

  • I wonder what ozbargain do with this much Eneloop bateries

  • It seems DSE has these Fujitsu batteries coming out the jin yang

  • Just to be clear, this is for 80 batteries, right? (20 x 4)

  • +1

These batteries were recently 49c per pack, briefly, equating to 20 packs for $9.80.

    • Yep I bought them at that price, you could only get AAA not AA though.

  • Seems to be problem with website , when you enter postcode for delivery it doesn't pop up with suburbs & gives error "please re-enter postcode to select city"

    • Try typing in your Suburb instead, should then pop up a drop down list

      • Ah cheers that fixed it

So many stores with 30-40% today along with JB's massive sales on tvs and dick is here with sale on batteries…

Come on dick 20% off macbook

  • I would like to see GoPro Hero4 Black with discount :P

  • Nice, thanks rep can never have enough eneloops ;-)

  • Topic says

    Eneloop Overnight Charger + 4 x AA - $14.98

but when I click onto that page, it says its $34.98, how do I fix this?

    edit: nvm, fixed, thanks rep!

    • Use the coupon code at the top of this screen when you checkout

  • If these are the same Fujitsu AA from last deal they have a long expiry date on them JUL2019.

  • For those needing less than 80 batteries: http://www.dicksmith.com.au/fujitsu-alkaline-battery-aa-10pk…

Works out a few $ more, though min 10pack rather than 20x4 (80).

    Edit: 3-5pm, get in quick!

    • Approx 21 cents per Battery for this deal Vs 89 Cents if using the other $10 off code (99 cents if not)..

Hand in your Ozbargain licence :-)

      • They were on special from 3-5pm I believe.
Did try to edit comment to include that though wasn't able to while at work due to terrible phone signal. They were around $2 a pack if I remember correctly, before including postage. If 80 were purchased, worked out to $0.22/battery compared to about $0.21.
All depended on how many were purchased due to the fixed rate postage.

  • Anyone knows if can be used together with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/169621

just goes to show how heavily retail outlets mark up their prices, yet they can still sell for a quarter of the price during a "sale" and make a profit…

    Can you do a mixed pack 10x4AA + 10x4AAA ?
I've got so many rechargeables I will take forever to use 80 of the one size primary cell

    • I am on the same boat. If interested we can divide. I am in Melbourne. Cheers

    You gotta love eneloops warranty

    "Warranty 2.7 years"

  • And just to confirm, not seeing anything about only being able to use the code once….??

  • Thanks Dick, needed more Eneloops :-)

  • Could you provide a good price on a mix of batteries - 1/2 AA and 1/2 AAA? I don't want 80 of each, but 40 of each might be good. Thanks

  • Hi Rep the delivery price gone up 4.95 not 2$ any more

    • yep, my delivery was $4.95 as well, so i went for Click-and-Collect which was free
