The robotic vacuum cleaner is a hands-free mechanical servant with a range of features. The powerful suction of this product reaches 25W, aiming to hunt down even the tiniest of dust bunnies as well as being able to automatically adjust the suction when encountering different floor environments. This helps to create a power-efficient cleaning process. The operation is designed to be easy to follow with a one-key function. The little robot has four different cleaning modes including auto-cleaning, spot-cleaning - when it will spiral in one spot when it detects a high volume of dirt - and edge-cleaning, employing edge brushes to focus on hard-to-reach areas.

Other features include the cliff sensor which allows the robot to avoid stairs and other drop-offs as well as a soft bumper, which protects both robot and furniture when they’re getting close. The robot docks and recharges at home base when cleaning is done or the battery is low. A remote control can direct the robot to work on command. An alarm beeps to indicate when the dust bin is full.

  • Anyone got one? Is this any good?
where to get extra brush replacement when they wear out?

  • check some reviews here and how to get the parts http://www.robotreviews.com/chat/viewtopic.php?t=17051. Note: X500 is better than x550 (known for issues)

  • I got one. No need to clean the brush, because it doesn't have one. Easier to maintain/clean than Roomba. Only works on hard floor and not on carpet, because it doesn't have a brush and the side brush get stuck on carpet. Side brush breaks easily, I use Roomba side brush as replacement and held it with a small washer.

    • So what's your verdict? How long have you owned it for?
