That is a nice price on the brand new Deathadder Chroma. $49 for free shipping when others are doing it for $60+. Think I'll be nabbing one of those when the sale starts but only 20 units available…

    • there are 50 units of the mouse and xbox controller

      • It has been upped to 100 now! When I first checked it was only 25 so its nice to see them increasing the number for sale

  • you can redeem far cry 4, ac unity or the crew for FREE with this GTX purchase ;)

    • do I get free game from the last Gigabyte's GTX970 G1 sale from SE?

      • Seems to be only with this card

      • has to be bought after the 20th of Nov.

      • gigabyte is working on the redemption page - meanwhile any card bought from 20th onwards will be eligible.

        • Date Invoiced: 19/11/2014

          God damn it.

        • Looking fwd to gigabyte g1 frenzy-sale + free game. Please tell gigabyte dont let msi celebrates the epic hour party alone ;)

  • +7

Should be Epic Minute instead of epic hour with these prices and quantities. .. You know, just so that no one feels disappointed when they miss out. :p

  • +4

Great price on the Xbox 360 controller especially with free shipping.

  • +1

Any feedback on their shipping times? Trustworthy?

    • +3

Last time I ordered a GPU from them it was shipped same day and got it 3 days later :)

  • Fark. Just ordered the MSI card yesterday from somewhere else. :(

The overclocked version is cheaper to import than buy the standard version locally on a 20 unit sale…

Amazon sells the MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC for US$349. With standard international shipping, that's less than AU$420, even with the current low exchange rates (1 AUD = 0.86 USD) that are supposed to help local retailers.

    http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GTX-970-4GD5T-OC/dp/B00NN0GIA0

Note that if you did get internationally, you might not be able to obtain the free free download code for Far Cry 4, Assassin's Creed: Unity, or The Crew because: "Digital content and services may only be available to customers located in the U.S. and are subject to the terms and conditions of Amazon Digital Services, Inc."

I doubt that GTX 970 will be available in Black Friday sales, but tomorrow only knows.

    • +1

They actually sell the same gaming one for the same price as that too http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NN0GEXQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=… good deal if you got amx for free shipping

The gaming model is not the standard model, it's oc

Amazon pricing with free shipping would be around $400. SE doesn't include shipping, so difference of about $70

      • AMEX charges 3% coversion fee mayby $20 to $30 differences depends on actual exchange rate

        • Oh really? Well with a different cc it would be around $420 shipped. Difference of $50. When adding to cart it does say eligible for free game but who knows

        • +1

@2pro4sho: dont forget warranty of MSI is regional. You buy from Amazon then you send it back to USA for repair. With 12% price difference i'd definitely go for local .

        • +1

@cyruslol: I do agree that paying extra to allow warranty to be done local is worthwhile. $50 seemed like a lot but it's actually only 12% difference, virtually the same as GST.

    • +1

does MSI offfef international warranty ? i'd like to pay $30 extra for 3 years peace of mind

    • Amazon uses ~0.83 exchange rate if you don't have a 28degree or citibank card though. Not to mention the $20-30 difference isn't really worth it compared with when the card is on sale here versus normal pricing of $519.
Edit: I'm also surprised that for once, Amazon actually has it in stock for more than an hour. Maybe there will be enough stock for black friday sales.

    More like SE epic seconds…

    • I have never had negative experience with SE?

      • They have good service and sales prices, but very little stock of said sales. This inevitably means the best items will go within seconds of the deals going live. There was one a while back. 750gb SSD for $299 and 3TB external for $79. These items sold out in less than a minute. Lots of unhappy customers.

      • i Have ordered an S5, they sent me some bullshit email about no stock blah blah. then again on wd red hod's.

Wont attempt to order from them ever again.

Spewing i wasted my time making online account to another stupid company

        • Hi bti_jet,

Not sure if you are referring to same company - we haven't sold any S5 on our website yet.

          Cheers
          SE

        • @ShoppingExpress: I think he's confused you guys with ShoppingSquare.

  • Dear SE rep. Can you please offer more stock? 50 of each?

  • +17

    Hi Guys,

We will update qty for ozbargain - that's the best we can do, no more stock request :P

MSI GTX 970 Gaming $459 (free game) + shipping (8-9pm)
    QTY = 40

Razer Deathadder Chroma Gaming Mouse $49 free shipping (9-10pm)
    QTY = 100

Xbox 360 Controller for Windows $29 free shipping (9-10pm)
    QTY = 100

    Cheers

      Love your work.

      • +1

        thanks my friend

        • Hey Rep, Quick Question, I bought the G1 On Wednesday, Is that included in the free game promo?

        • @ozzyinferno:

yes - gigabyte is working on the redemption page - meanwhile any card bought from 20th onwards will be eligible.

    • +2

Awesome. Now you have 20 extra seconds to grab a 970!

  • +2

Damn good price for the Xbox controller but I have three already and still can't find another two friends to play with, a fourth would be a paper weight

  • +3

Don't buy a Razer. Such shit quality product and service.

  • Hey guys, let me get a 970 pls xD

  • Talk about bad timing I ordered the same XBOX 360 controller this morning and picked up less than one hour ago for $37. Good price wish I could justify another but would not be used.

    • From Umart?

      • Yes from Umart. Prices and service pretty good there.

  • +1

How does this card compare to the MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC or the "G1" gigabyte?

  • The trick to getting one of these SE deals is to choose direct debit payment. Your order gets placed immediately rather than wasting precious seconds sorting out payment through your PayPal account.

  • Look what's coming to replace it everybody…

    https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=616902

    • Ooo shiny…

      • +1

Literally only difference is a skin, or are they heatsinks?

        • Higher clock and pretty matched Gigabyte G1

Model name GTX 970 GAMING 4G Golden Edition

Priced USD $399 , $50 more than 4G normal edition i'd go for Giga G1 instead

        • @cyruslol: Did they remove the fan off feature for this one?

        • @johnjones8: why would they remove it, it's meant to work well?

        • @yacman: sorry i typed that before reading the whole thing and thought they removed it to get the higher clocks. But yeah it's nice that they kept that pretty cool feature.

    • It's up on newegg if anyone is interested.

  • How does the controller work with windows, does it come with a usb wifi adapter?

    • It's the wired version, which is USB so it plugs straight in.

      • +1

Don't think so, check the link it says 2.4ghz wireless..

      • +1

Nope It's the wireless that's on sale… They have wired for $4 less.

@Infraction : Yes I think you need to get an adapter, doesn't come with one.

        • +3

Pretty sure this does comes with the wireless adapter. @ShoppingExpress can you confirm?

        • +1

          Yeh, it's seems your right.
Normal remotes don't, but "for windows", have the adapter included.

    • Ditto to the request for a rep to confirm this.

  • +1

New RAZR deathadder is terrible. Rip off for $49

    • -1

Yep, $49 is the max price the deathadder should be, not $70.

But can't stop kids buying it :)

  • REP - any chance you can do a similar shipping special on the wireless 360 controller ?

    • hmm? this is the wireless 360 controller

      • +1

Does it have the wireless adapter for pc?

  • can you do me combined price for elgato game capture hd and msi gtx 970?

    • There can't possibly be any further movement on the pricing :).

  • Was thinking of going for the MSI 970 card but just realised that my Sugo SG05 case only takes up to about 9.5" card length. Anyone know what the physical length is for the MSI? I'm hearing the EVGA version is the one that's able to squeaze into a Mini-ITX case (I have loads of other gear in my games room so Mini-ITX or bust, mu Sugo case is still all I want :)).

EDIT: Based on MSI website it seems that the card is a tad over 10" in length

  • I might get the MSI GTX 970, but I really want the GALAX GTX 970 Hall of Fame edition, it looks beast!

  • If someone needs/wants the xbox wireless controller for pc ple straight away for $30 in store. Delivery extra.. Stock in Perth and Melbourne

    • PLE is a great store. Was just there this morning (Melbourne) for some parts. Very good price and range of parts in stock. Will return for more! :)

    • +1

A knock off controller doesn't compare at all to a genuine microsoft one.

  • Well, got one of the 970 . .Paid DD. Hopefully all goes smoothly..

Edit 8:20pm… SOLD OUT it seems when I looked at putting another in the basket :)

  • I just noticed the 970 has "Pre-Sale: Subject to Distributor Delivery" on it. Does this mean you don't have it in stock currently and need to wait for the supplier? I don't mind waiting, was just wondering.

  • price still $38.55

  • Shipping on the xbox controller comes up as $9.55, hmm

  • yeah was looking at controller also but for $10 shipping I think i will get one elsewhere!

  • have we been able to confirm if the controller comes with PC adapter?

    • I have one, yes if its the one in a red box it comes with its own wifi connector

      Edit See https://www.google.com.au/search?q=JR9-00006&biw=1549&bih=10…

      • ahh thx for clearing that up. I believe they only have the normal green box ones for the hour.

        • +1

Based on the item code it should come with one (The Red one is the Windows one and the product code on the site so I think its the red one based on that)

        • @brent3000: You sir are correct! I did some digging around and it seems that way. Looks like im trying for both mouse and controller now :/

        • @JDM4LIFE:
          DONT TOUCH MY MOUSE!!! :P

  • Yeah, same problem here with the controller. Not proceeding with it atm.

  • REP - Trying to order the 360 controller but the total is coming to $40.55. Controller is listed as $35 and shipping is calculated at $11.55 to WA. The only discount applying is $6.00. Advise?

  • +1

For those in Perth looking to buy the controller, PLE is selling them for $30. However only Wangara store has stock.
    http://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=601486

  • Price still showing as $69 for the mouse?

    • same for me.

      • 30min in and still wrong pricing, I think someone's auto price changes broke or are late

        • lol, mate if it only went to $49.

        • +2

Taking Blitz90 advise, placed a DD order and logged an email about the price, shows I was here for the hour even if the website wasn't :) time to move on with myt night

  • +3

    Anti Epic hour
Was all ready to grab a controller but alas $38.55 delivered not $29

    • Same here. $38.55 charged to Paypal. $29 + $9.55 shipping.
      REP, please advise.

  • +1

it charges shipping($9.99) for Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

  • +3

Yeah it's not cancelling the shipping cost it seems to me it's most likely a coding error. I went ahead and purchased it anyway and chose direct deposit and won't send a payment until they reply to my Inquiry to confirm it is $29 including shipping otherwise I won't send a payment. On the plus side I scored a GTX 970 so i'm happy about that at least.

    • Same. Hopefully it'll be fixed up in the morning.

    • same to me, I just bought one but sent an email asking for confirmation before transfer the payment :)
