FURTHER UPDATE

As you all know the Ebay 20% off at The Good Guys store is now live. Enter code CBIGXMAS when going through the checkout. Don't forget your 'Cash Rewards'

Prices below are with the 20% discount applied and local pick-up (add $5 for delivery)

Tab S 8.4" 16GB Wi-Fi White $287.20 - http://bit.ly/1FtfL6d
Tab S 10.5 16GB Wi-Fi White $367.20 - http://bit.ly/1xJIRbt

UPDATE As pointed out by Vermin 76, The Good Guys have the pricing on the Tab S Wi-fi models reduced on BOTH their Ebay site and their website. Their website advises the prices are current until the 1st December, so hold off on buying until you see what they do with the pricing of the Tabs as part of the 20% off Ebay sale this Sunday.

The Good Guys Ebay store have dropped the pricing on the Wi-Fi versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets overnight. The prices are cheaper then buying a grey import from overseas and you can pick-up in store for free, but don't do that - head to Office Works and get them to beat the price by a further 5%

I've been keeping an eye on the pricing for the Tab S 10.5 16GB Wi-Fi in the lead up to the 20% off select Ebay stores this weekend (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/170606). It will go nicely with the Tab S 8.4 I purchased recently. The price dropped overnight from $547 to $459.

Now to decide whether or not to buy now or wait until Sunday, given there's a good chance the pricing will go up before the 20% off sale starts.

Tab S 8.4" 16GB Wi-Fi White $359 - http://bit.ly/1FtfL6d ($341.05 if you do a 'Price Beat Guarantee' at Officworks)
Tab S 10.5 16GB Wi-Fi White $459 - http://bit.ly/1xJIRbt ($436.05 if you do a 'Price Beat Guarantee' at Officworks)

        • I was curious did anyone else get the "We don't price match on Samsung products" excuse when they tried to do it?

        • @concento: I got "we don't match that kind of deal".

  • I ordered mine from TGG yesterday, mine came to $347 for the Tab S 8.4 16GB WiFi. Then used the $20 promotional discount code which came down to $327.

    • $20 promotional code?

      • $20 off over $100 promo I guess

  • Shame the tab s is only in 16gb

    • JB has 32GB tab s

  • +1

Please check this page for extra bonus offers http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/BonusOfferListView?catalogId=3…. There is a $50 store credit available with the purchase of certain Samsung Tablets. There are also individual store credits depending on your total spend.

  • game time

  • Deal is on! Purchased Samsung Tab S 16gb for $287.20 after discount, woop!

You and 80 others in the first 1/2 hour.

      • Just picked up mine. Now onto the screen protector and casing…

  • Just confirming what others have posted already, $367.20 for 10.5 inch Tab S after applying ebay 20% discount, what a bargain!!!

  • thanks tight-ass and Vermin76 got the 10.5" for $367.20 local pick up as well

  • How do you apply the discount? Still showing as 459 for the 10" for me.

    • CBIGXMAS

      That's the promo code!
      Brings the 10" to $372.20

    • You gotta add the item to your cart and then click proceed to checkout. Then there will be a space where you add the CBIGXMAS promo code.

  • 1 minute after 10am the ebay "sold" jumped from 2 to 22 lol. I was like "this is the real deal". I think I was the 25th buyer. My guess is 90% of the buyers are all homies here :P

  • Thanks - grabbed the 10.5 16GB Wifi

  • Going down to TGG capalaba to get my 16gb wifi 10.5 too plus a Sony Radio Clock for the kitchen.

  • Just wondering do you guys think Officeworks would offer easier returns compared to Good Guys for the tablet if I ever need to return it within the first 12 months?

    • +1

      Yes.

      • From my experience Officeworks usually are pretty cool about just giving back a refund on items after you have opened and used them. But it seems like on Samsung products they are a bit more strict on them

  • Purchased Friday so I didn't risk it if they increased the price fir the eBay sale. Went to my local store today and they refunded the difference for the 20% off sale.

    • Was this officeworks or good guys?

      • Good guys. Had a $20 gg voucher so didn't have a need to price match.

    • That's awesome customer service from TGG. ebay are forking out the cost of the 20% discount (although they probably have some cost sharing arrangement with the stores). I'm sure TGG lost money on your sale by refunding you the 20% directly.

  • If anyone's looking for a case for their new tablet, these look like a good deal :

  • Placed the order today, and went to pickup at Auburn but was told they don't have any in stock left though the website said it did.

    • +1

Same here, different store. Ordered both an 8" and 10" for pickup. The "pickup is ready" email came through, but then the store called me to say they are waiting on stock and will call me back.

  • Any one had luck claiming the $50 voucher for purchasing a galaxy S 10.5 ?

I keep getting told my docket number does not qualify

    • +1

Did you purchase a 4G model?

    • +1

Yeah its only the 4g model on the 10.5 and 8.4 model

      • Thanks guys, should have read the fine print haha

  • Thanks… picked up a 8.4 for $292 shipped.. Received an email saying it's all it's way.

Actually, I purchased one at 10am yesterday using the Mobile Phone.. checked again and realised I forgot to enter the 20% code.

I thought they automatically apply it for you, and/or Paypal refund you 20% like they did on a previous promotion.

At 12, I purchased it again using a laptop and this time entered in the 20% code. Then proceeded to cancel my original order at the full price.

  • May be a silly question, when claiming trs do you get a refund on what you paid or actually price?

    • Refund will be based on the tax invoice issued by TGG, which will only state the "full" price.

      • Thanks invoice just came through with the full price. $42 gst coming my way

  • Purchased Samsung Galaxy TAB S 8.4 on Sunday and choose to pickup in store at bayswater. Contact them today they said no stock and the earliest stock will come in earlier January… :(

  • Ok, if anyone in Perth SOR is interested in the 10.5, I have one. All that has been done is opened, Samsung screen protector applied and setup, but have decided to get the smaller size. Used for less than 15 minutes. Screen is perfect, as is application of screen protector (no dust or bubbles).

I am asking $365 (approximate) price paid.

PLUS: $50 extra to cover the cost of the Samsung screen protector and the genuine Samsung cover (RED), which cost me $79.95 at JB on Sunday (it is the full book cover, not just the front cover).

  • After order with $5 delivery I received an email from TGG "order XXXXXX has been allocated to a store for processing" which showed the Dandenong VIC store. So what now? Who gets priority, the pick-up or delivery orders? How does it usually take for them to process?

    • Received order dispatched email. Yay!

  • For people that selected pickup from the store, did they use the $5 credit in the email to buy anything else?
Can I only use one $5 credit per item or can I combine multiple $5 credits to purchase one item?
The T&C link in the email is broken.

  • Has anyone else still not got theirs yet?

    I ordered an 8.4" and still waiting…

    • you serious bro? They shipped mine just couple days after. Did you purchase at the last minute or something, and so they put you on the backorder list?

      • Nope, ordered pretty much as soon as the promo came up..

        • +1

bro you need to chase 'em up. Them boys aint the real good guys.

        • @sky blu:

          Haha, thanks.

I have been , they just say no stock update.

          Cheers

        • @GMJ:
same.situation here.end.up paid 10 bucks to get delivered from WA. Suppose to pick up at store

        • @ronin:
Cheers, stirring them up on Facebook, said they are looking into it.

        • @GMJ: oh yeah forgot to mention I actually paid $5 for delivery, instead of local pickup. You might wanna try ringing either TGG Online 1300 466 348 or your allocated local store and request to change to delivery. I think your order would be fulfilled that way, instead of waiting for the head office to allocate stock to your local store.

        • @sky blu:

Yeah thanks, will see if they can change to delivery.
