Alternatively, you can change the au part in the url to us and get it for $10 USD which likely comes with a bigger available music library but not entirely sure on that last part.

Buy using 4 new acc. & essentially get a 1yr eqiuv. sub for $48 instead of $144 which is a massive $96 saving.

Can you transfer your playlists between accounts though? It'd be a pain, even if it is free/cheaper, to have to create new playlists every few months.

You can subscribe to playlist between users.

Not sure if your theory works, wouldn't all 4 account paid period start straight away?

      • Whoops! Hadn't crossed my mind. Guess you're right.

Good deal. I'm also very please about Spotify Family https://www.spotify.com/au/family/ Which is full premium access for:
    1 person $11.99 (regular)
2 people $17.99 (best value at $5 extra)
    3 people $23.99
    4 people $29.99

I'll be getting my wife to sign up to the 3 for the price of 1 here, then move over to this family deal with me

    • That's pretty awesome. I might talk my housemate and sister (who I know pay for premium) to share a 3 person deal with me.

My partner and I share an account - we rarely listen at the same time, and time when we do we are usually on an a plane and have put it into airplane mode, so it doesn't know we are both using it.

  • Thanks, good deal

  • If I still have the 30 day trail sitting there and jump on this deal will it effectively be 4 months for $12 (30 day trail + two free months + one month for the $12)? Or will I be running the risk of it billing me after the free 30 days only to find the offer has ended and I've missed out?

    • +1

I think it bypasses the trial period if you signup to premium directly. So basically you lose out on 30 free days of the trial & it will only be $12 for 3mths; $4/mth.

      • Hmm, clicking on the offer on their website now leads to the payment details form with "Start 3 months of Premium for $11.99" at the top of the page. Either I had a derp and totally missed it or I was using the 'Upgrade' button in the application which leads to "Start free 30-day trial $11.99 per month after trial. Cancel online anytime you want." Thanks for your help.

  • Thanks OP.
