I hope your 2000th deal is easier to access.

  • My Amex usually fools these systems, but not this time. Zero joy.

  • Really nobody tried using US VPN but used Aust CC or Paypal to buy gift card and use the gift card to purchase this deal?

    • I upboated based on the free 3 free months of Audible and I got a bonus free $10 credit for subscribing for x consecutive months.

So this plus another coupon that gave me 2 free months about 2 months ago has me with 5 free audiobooks of my choosing + $10 credit which I'll spend on their daily deals and get about 3 more books out of. So 8 good audiobooks for about $3.50. Which is nice.

  • Entropay linked to us paypal signed up via us vpn, then using us vpn to sign up to a new spotify account from the spotify webpage worked. Bit of a mess around but because they try so hard so stop people like us makes me try even harder just to beat them. :)

    • You have to sign up to a new paypal also using us vpn if that wasn't clear.

  • This is dead easy to sign up for. Use free Hola extension set to US to create US PayPal account. Send a payment of $US1 to this account from your Aus PayPal account (Send money -> Family and Friends option). Use Hola again to open Spotify account and pay using your US PayPal. 'Pay using PayPal balance' will already be selected. Profit.

Edit: Choose a US address in a tax-free state, eg. Oregon.

    • Cheers! Saves ~$10.70 from the Spotify AU offer.

So the Spotify region can easily be changed from US back to AU in the acc. settings?

      • Not sure. I didn't change anything (PayPal and Spotify accounts are both still US) and I can use Spotify fine on my Android phone in Australia.

        • I tried use chrome zenmate US VPN to create paypal account and keep getting "Sorry, but there's been a problem. Please try or call customer service for help."

        • @superforever:

No problems for me using Hola in Firefox and a legit Oregon address (although I don't live there). Also, I've been using my US Spotify account on the Windows client and that works fine too.

        • @dazweeja:

How can you created US PayPal and used it?

I cannot even I already have $1 and linked CC.

    • Finally cleared browser cookies and able to created US Paypal but paypal keep ask me to link a credit card or bank account when I go to pay spotify. Any idea? I already have USD1 credit in there.

      • Linked CC but when go to pay by PayPal keep getting PayPal error.

        • I'd like to help but mine worked without any error. When you try to pay with PayPal, is 'Pay using PayPal balance' selected?

        • @dazweeja:

Thanks for the help I couldn't see where is the Pay using Paypal balance option? Is it in spotify? Or is a setting in PayPal?

EDIT: Just logged paypal settings default already set to "If you have a PayPal balance, we'll use it first."

Did you link a credit card or bank account?

        • @superforever:

I didn't think I had but I just checked and there is one linked so I must have at some stage. It's just a normal Aussie one but I've used the same Oregon address for everything in PayPal and Spotify.

        • @dazweeja:

I confirmed my CC PP code but still cannot use it.

Keep getting "We need a little bit more information about you to help confirm your identity."

But I have no way to confirm mobile and link a bank account.

I have never need to do the same for Aussie PP.

  • just a reminder to those who got the bonus $10 listening coupons during nov from audible. Need to use them by Dec 31st….
