    I suggest adding "for 2 people" to the title, assuming that the $425 is for 2 people. Also, I'd be willing to pay a bit extra NOT TO have to play the golf… is that an option?

    Good point have added 2 people,, Sorry dont understand what you mean by pay extra for no golf there is no requirement to take up the golf part of the deal if all you want is the accommodation and breakfast thats fine

    40 minute drive from downtown so rather inconvenient if you want to do some sightseeing and try the street food.

    Regarding location all i can really say is that it is at a golf resort, Cant say there are to many of them downtown but yes it is a 40 minute drive from downtown chiangmai

    Reasonably priced, not a complete rip thats for sure. I have stayed in Chiang Mai for about $30 a night in boutique style apartment accommodation. So for double the price roughly u get breakfast and golf, but as mentioned seems like a long way out of the hub (old city which is worth staying in if u like the culture etc). If u want to stay in a resort and do the odd daytrip, this may appeal.
