Nothing else you can buy locally at this price with those features.

I would consider a refurbished Nexus 7 from 2012 to maybe be better for similar prices but you cant get those locally.

No, I got them of $20 at woolworths. And they are pretty crap.

You are talking about an old models from years ago…stop talking rubbish.

    • +1

That's probably the dual core model. This one's the quad core one.

  • -2

It does not even have the normal google play store on it, just some copy. And it can't even play simple games smoothly.

    • Like my DGTEC tablet from Dick Smith it can't even play any game at all it's that crap.

    • +3

Complete rubbish! It comes with the normal google play store as per the description, and the quad core packs a lot of grunt and will play games very well…no issues.

You are talking about some old Pendo pad with different specs as if this is the same…its not.

Old or new, the pendo pad is crap anyway. Save your money or get a cheap apple tablet of ebay.

        Take your irrelevant spam elsewhere.

      • Unfortunately your comments are very uneducated and seem to be based on a particular model you purchased. Like many other gadgets the Pendo Pad come in different Models hence the different specs. Kapish?

Im just saving a lot of people from buying Junk, your the person putting spam on here. I got a iPad mini for $150 of ebay.

    • Congratulations? I don't know what your definition of junk or spam is but: how's the free U2 album going?

      • It's amazing how many people moan about a free album they can easily hide if it isn't their taste. I still don't undetstand the drama over it.

        • I wasn't moaning! I was using it for comical effect!

I think it's the principle of it all: a lot of people are very particular about their taste in music. I personally don't have a problem with it at all - I've downloaded pretty much all the free music you can get from the Play Store. :P It will be a bit awkward if I host a shindig and One Direction starts playing… Note to self: remember to create playlists for different occasions.

err this was cheaper a few days ago, something like $49

      • havent open the box yet mate,so dont know Sorry..

  • Got two of these, very good for price

    • But no upvote?

Paid 49 months ago from coles for this quadcore worst tablet ever used viewing angles was so nad you had to look from only one angle to not have the picture going all weird.
Ended up returning it and buying used.

    • I only remember coles has 49 for dualcore model.Unless it is your local coles' pomo only.

    • -1

This tablet has never been $49.

You are talking about an older dual core tablet.

  • Planning to buy a few under $100 tablets for kids. Any idea which one is gonna be the most future proof of them all? Nexus 7 vs Acer Iconia One 7 vs Pendo Pad 7 ?

    • Nexus 7

    • Where do you get a Nexus 7 for under $100?

  • I bought one from Coles with Android 4.4. The only thing I did not like was the screen, it was not IPS. The tablet came with HDMImout and even had an OTG cable which Iam now using with my Nexus 7. It was fast, the product felt light and I think will require greater care compared to Nexus 7 for eg. For the price its great.

  • Saw these when I was in Target this afternoon, my God what rubbish they are. Absolutely AWFUL screen - terrible low resolution, woeful viewing angles and some of the poorest build quality I've seen in any tablet ever.

    • That answers my question then!

      • Hardly what I experienced.. mattlol must of got the old version

        • Lol i didn't buy it, they were just on display. And unlikely this was the old version given the store is mere weeks old.

        • @mattlol:

my local target has both in stock and look very similar

  • Does this have USB OTG? I need to run a 3DR radio off it after I killed my Nexus 7
