      I asked the store guys, he was not aware and said we need to apply online, however, I called the 1300 number, that lady confirmed and she said I "might" get an SMS sometime in January 1st week. Sounds fishy..

    I have confirmed this with my local store.

    $100 credit is claimed online.
    Currently the link is offline but will be available later today.

    This $100 credit when spending $500+ is nationwide (all thegoodguys store).

    The above information was from the store manager at my local store.

    I went this morning (9am)and there were only around 4 tv left on the floor. There was someone who bought one in front of me and another behind me as well. While loading it into my car, the car next to me also bought one.
    Asked abt the cash back and was told to apply online. Bought an apple hdmi adapter for $59 to bring up the total past $500.
