    And that pretty much rules it out for me… would have to look at how much it actually uses (Kw/year) but I'm guessing in 2-3 years it would probably even itself out with a currently more expensive but more energy efficient model. From then on you'd be in the red.

        Samsung fridges have a bad rep when it comes to reliability so maybe shop for electrolux and etc even though they cost more. Having said that, I have had a Samsung for 5 years now and had zero issues with it.
