Tyr to find any led lighting NOT from overseas!
Also what certificate do you need? If it hasn't got any safety standard why they've selling for so long & no ozbargainer complained?
I care about safety but no oz cert doesn't equal to not safe. They have to comply with the safety standards in the market they physically stock in. Oz is such small market so may not worth it.
I never bought any from these guys thou.

I (and a mod later) stated that this seller is overseas. When purchasing lighting items from an Australian seller, the seller is subject to Australian laws and legislation. An overseas seller is not.

Certification that the items are safe and meet Australian standards. They have been selling for some time because they are overseas - out of reach of Australian authorities. There have been plenty of complaints - please read past offerings from the seller.

Buying Australian approved LED lighting items from an Australian seller gives the buyer many benefits. For example - The Australian Consumer Garantee, They do NOT have to comply with the safety standards for the market where they hold their stock. They may say their stock is for export only, and not for sale in Hong Kong.

I never bought any from these guys thou.

      Lucky you!

Normally safety is an after thought in China, especially if theres a buck to be made.

If its mains powered I would prefer to spend more money on a electrical product that has been officially certified for australian safety standards.

If not bad things can happen like the below -

Things like cheap china made apple charges are built for price and dont have adequate safety from a circuit design prespective to save 1 or 2 bucks .. ie. proper separation from High voltage mains side of circuit with lower voltage charging side.
