Casio Edifice EFR-528D-1A Watch $139 @ Star Jewels (RRP $399)

520

Seems to be a really good price, having a look on eBay and googling it this seems to be by far the lowest price.

Here are the other watches that are on sale but the one directly linked seems to be the best offer IMHO

Star Jewels are awesome. Cheapest Australian stock for Casio merchandise by far, and an ever-expanding range.

    Star Jewels is the best!!!

  • whats the link on casio website? I find 527 and 529 but no 528

    • Couldn't find it either except on Ebay and similar sites, they do have the 529 listed and on sale though.

  • any g-shocks on sale?

    • +4

It would have been quicker to click the link and look yourself… but yeah there are gshocks listed.

      • I have seen, but neither of them have a reasonable price tag

You asked a question when you already knew the answer?

        • @gummibear: i was asking in general, as they were none in this store

          @johnnybravoo0:

That makes more sense now, thanks

    109.99 USD = 134.567 AUD
So yes its cheaper with the free shipping. But doesn't seem to come close to the $399 RRP.

Free shipping only for the US, not Australia. Comes to $118.97 with shipping, thats 145.63 aud.
So, star jewels take the cake!

      • +1

Yes the free shipping I referred to is from star jewels. It's basic knowledge that the free shipping on amazon is US only but thanks for pointing that out. I just wanted people to realise that this is really not a bargain, but yes it beats the amazon deal.

Is it brand watches or the fake one? Compare to Cathoftheday, is it branded too?

    • +1

A fake Edifice selling for $139?

That's either the most genuine fake ever or the dumbest scam artist ever.

COTD have been found guilty of selling fakes and grey imports in the past. Star Jewels are the real deal.

  • I grabbed mine, I'm so happy because last time this watch finished very soon

Just putting it out there! The watch look great, however, it doesn't have solar/other form to recharge the battery. Also, the face is mineral glass……easy to get scratch.

  • and it's sold out

    • Better jump on this deal quick smart.

(2300 clicks) Looks like its been OZBlitz

  • Does anyone know which website to buy ladies Tissot watches? Thanks

    • Just go to a shop, generally 30% off RRP.

  • Chronograph makes the watch look busy and serve little purpose other than extra complexity and more things to go wrong. I much prefer simple watch these days, to tell the time quickly. Anything else there's the smart phone.

    • for everything else, theres Mastercard

    • Maybe there are more things to go wrong but I reckon that a reliable brand will be reliable. It's a bit like saying a modern car is a step backwards due to more added features that can go wrong. Heck even car nuts once argue against Japanese DOHC twin cam engines would be less reliable than SOHC engines.

I kind of like the look of this watch, not that I will buy it due to it not having solar. But each to their own.

      Cheers.

  • I am looking for a titanium watch, with sapphire windows, date and day functions, and with good price. Any suggestions? Many Thanks

    • See my comments here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/169545

The watch doesnt show day but meets all your other requirements (not sure what your budget is). Seriously do you need a watch to remind you what day it is?

      • Day of Month… absolutely.
        Weekday Name… not-so-much.

      • Thanks. However I really need both Day of the week, and Date of the month.
