Saw the PSP Go at the local JBhifi store advertised for $398 with Gran Turismo. Their online advertising material lists it at $449, but it is available for $398 on their online store (no mention of Gran Turismo there though).

GT PSP is not part of the deal, it was only until 10th October as an incentive for early buyers

Don't see any mention of the GT offer anywhere, I think you're referring to the previous offer where you got GT within the first 10 days of purchase.
He means first ten days of release ^ (October 1st - October 10th)
As I said - the local store up here still clearly had the signs up listing a free copy of GT… if I make it to the shops, I'll see if I can take a photo.
Meh, the PSP 3000 is still the better console, plus with the games you can sell them when you're done with them! But okay deal for Aussies. Might be cheaper buying overseas? just a thought.
I'd rather wait for a GT5/PS3 package early next year.
From the sounds of things the PSP Go is going to be the tech flop of 2009
