      $5 ans $6 delivery. So, $88 minimum.

Or is there some free delivery included with that code?

    • Thanks, updated :)

  • Any $3 item from any seller, or only from OfficeWorks?

If OfficeWorks - they do not appear to have any $3 items.

Free Express delivery when you spend $55 :)

Can mix items successfully but no cheaper item found (delivered) from Dell or Target.

  • It seems a good deal for 2TB, can this work on mac too?

    • Of course, would just need to format it before use

      • mine didnt need formatting

        • no thats right, they can read ntfs, but best performance you should format to macs native format.
unless you plugged yours into a router or something.

  • This HDD requires a power supply, yes? Not just USB powered?

    • +1

      Yep, power cord needed

  • At a quick glance that code looked like CRACK2SCHOOL…which wouldn't be a good idea.

Every student takes a crack to school.

  • Can I mount this internally?

    • +1

Yes, using either USB 3.0 port or SATA (III).

If USB, just know that you'd need to route the power cable out of the computer case to a power socket, and a safe place inside to put the drive.
If SATA, you'd have to take the enclosure off of the HDD and can mount it in one of the drive bays. I think it's a Seagate Barracuda which spins at 7200 RPM. $80 is cheap for the bare drive but of course removing the shell voids the warranty.

      • Thanks. Cheapest i have found in Perth is at PLE, about $30 or so more.

        • I've done it before with a Seagate Expansion. You just need a butter knife to force the clips open on the side, take the top off and remove the PCB connected to the drive. Mine had a 7200rpm Seagate Barracuda.

  • only 15 remaining

Still waiting for these to get back down to $65, when we price matched at OW based on this deal.

Given the direction of the Aussie dollar, already seeing many computer components going up in price, you may be waiting a while.

Plus the fact that was a run out model.

Thanks mate, bought 2. Just when I was running out of space. Added $5ish toilet paper for best value.

By the way, it's 3 year warranty.

I am hesitate to buying Seagate disc, because my 4T just died.

Both my 2TB have been going strong for two years.

      • All of my seagates that I have purchased after 2011 are still going strong. Comes down to your luck of the draw.

  • at last, back close to the $79 I paid at DickSmiths months back.

  • Great deal and thanks!

  • Thanks I just bought two as well. :-)

These will be used to backup kids computers that seem to fill up amazingly fast with Adware/Malware etc. Bloody Minecraft and their AddOns and Youtube teaching them things to download.

This way I will have their setup ready to go as soon as I restore a backup that I know works and it will take hours off doing to it the way I just did last night and this morning. Arrghhhh……

    Thanks!!!!

  • Only 8 left now

  • bought one just now.

hard to find something $5 to fulfill the order… lol

  • Picked one up, 1 left…..

    • Like most ebay sites it should be stocked up Hopefully :)

  • Just bought 2 , the stock goes down to 1 then back up to 4 available " Hopefully not the same fiasco with the Gigabit Switch ".

I had bad experience with this Seagate model and it did not seem that I am the only one. The price is attractive but not if you rely you data on it without redundant copies. Mine (3TB model) failed within the 1st year but fortunately I had backup of the data. I got refund from OW and then purchased a WD 2TB model as a backup drive to another reliable WD I already had.

Check below for other users who had it failed within months:

I checked my invoice, it was picked this morning at 8:00am and delivered at 3:00pm. Will definitely buy from them again if I need something urgent. Thanks TRENT86 for posting all these great deals!

I bought one of these during the dicksmith sale. It works fine but if you remove the drive from the caddy and plug it into the computer, Windows says the drive has to be formatted. Also putting another drive in the caddy, Windows again can not read the disk contents.

    Any ideas?
