    Agree. I noticed that all 3 of my Sandisk USB2.0 stick (low-end types) are painfully slow to write big files into. But then again, it's $12 :)

    I would gladly pay $10 more to get a decent flash drive and save myself hours of pain later on. These cheap SanDisk drives are absolutely terrible to write to. I guess it's fine if you're always going to have the luxury to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy while you wait for a few files to transfer to the drive but that's not always the case for me.

    who do you believe…
    in my experience it depends on system setup, drivers, OS etc…
    1.5gb over 2 minutes it pretty good going….maybe too good

      Having had numerous cheap SanDisk flash drives in the past, I don't believe the speeds quoted in your link for a moment while I find McFly's very believable. Do you find it suspicious that they only review SanDisk USB drives?
