Sony XBA-2 in-Earphones - KOGAN - $99 AUD Delivered. Was $189

50

Hi Guys,

Was looking around for excellent in-earphones for riding/traveling, something not too expensive but sounds great. Looked at some reviews and thought the Sony XBA-2's would be a good price/performance sweet spot.

http://www.whathifi.com/news/best-in-ear-headphones-to-buy-i…

Did some research and found surprisingly Kogan had the normal model for only $99 delivered.

Note: These do not come with the in-line remote for volume control or voice calls. Just straight earphones.

There are other models available with this function but are a lot more expensive.

Ebay cheapest is approx $159, staticice doesn't have any listings, other than $189 being the next available.

Still have the XBA3s from the Sony Sale for $50….it is amongst the top pile of my Ozbargain Shrine.

    • Still use mine daily. Was meant to be 'damaged' but mine just had a pricing sticker on it.

    • $50?

      i hate you :(

    • yeah, $50 xba3 FTW!

      • The aux connector broke on mine (well, the copper inside). Its still sitting on my desk waiting to be fixed as it would pain me too much to throw them away….

        • It should be a simple fix for anyone with basic soldering knowledge. Definitely don't throw them away!

"Something not too expensive" ….99 bucks!!!! (Gasp)

  • Fair price if you want to go the balanced armature route, but you're better off importing a pair of Sony MDR-EX650. Sony has moved on a bit since this in-terms of sound quality.

I think sony discontinued the series. I got mine for $45 from dick smith before Sony cleared out all their stock at really good prices.
    $99 for xba-2? No deal.
    $189? Lmfao!
