    Yes, RT is pretty much dead. With cheap low power x86 CPUs on the market there is no reason for manufacturers to make Windows RT gimped tablets anymore :)

  1.09kg??? thats VERY heavy imo. i have been considering to replace my third generation ipad (the "new ipad" with retina), because it is heavy. but this is much heavier.

    That's probably with the included keyboard/dock, the tablet itself should be under 500 grams else it would be prone to tipping.
