Aldi is $14.99 and your $14.98 is only for a "limited time." Not really a deal…. go cheaper.

Free pickup? Shouldn't pickup always be free?

Free delivery is a better offer than free pickup.

Seller has dropped down to $13.99 + free postage since publishing deal. Have to give kudos for that.

    Cheaper than Aldi?

  • Get one from GBO stores in shopping centres for $10. Plenty stock.

  • found a pile in Bargain City for $8 last week. I don't like looking like an idiot in public so obviously didnt buy one.

    • Imagine if someone invented a selfie stick for DSLR. You will look like a pro… :P

      • it's called a monopod they've been out for about 20years if not more.

        • I would like to see a guy holding a monopod with DSLR on the other end. :D

  • Is this any different to the Aldi one, operation wise ?
Have never used one so would like to know if you hold the stick in one hand and the remote in other. And then when you are ready to 'click', you press the remote ? Is that how it works ?

    • @geek7899

Comes with a bluetooth remote to activate the photo capture

      DR

  • i thought aldi 1 has the remote built into the stick?

    • Selfie Stick with Bluetooth $14.99 at ALDI (Starts 21 Feb)

      • What is that supposed to mean … ?
Is it integrated into the stick or separate ?

I'd rather have it integrated into the handle, so I can do a one-handed operation. Plus, separate remote could get lost easily !
        I'll pass

        • if it is separate you can use it as a remote capture with out the stick.

  • Good for those who doesn't have local Aldi stores.

    • @cloudie9

Spot on. This is another option for those who are unable to visit an Aldi store to line up for that special and instead ordering it from the comfort of your own home.

      DR

  • So it's a separate remote not built into the stick? Will pass then. The ones built in are more expensive generally. Getting the pole and remote separately on eBay is pretty cheap.

  • Is there a non-bluetooth enabled version out there? I don't want another device to consume my batteries and it's easier to swap over phones without the need to pair the phones up.
Why am I even considering a selfie stick?

  • If Aldi's product breaks down you can always get a refund. So, it's well worth paying extra $1 and buy from Aldi.

  • This selfie-stick does not have rotation lock, meaning the telescopic rod would rotate and tilt if the phone weight is not balanced properly. The bluetooth control is a separate item, not built-in to the rod. The Aldi selfie stick is a better design.
