    • Do you mean 'eGift cards'. Yes, had several emailed. The codes and Pins are in pdf, and accepted almost everywhere expected.

    • Yes i received the e-gift code ( in pdf file ). However, i havent check the bank detail to see whether i got any refund or not.

  • Just missd it. Sold out.

  • Thanks, got the 500. Hardly shop at Woolies, so for me it's a free tank and a half of fuel.

  • +1

SOLD OUT. that was fast! Go get ready for work guys/uni!

  • Showing up as sold out now. Missed!

  • Sorry, not enough remaining deals in your city.

  • Sold out?

    • Yep. Sold out.

  • Before I submit the order, my total amount doesn't show the $50 off. What am i supposed to see?

And also getting this (I am logged in):

Your code did not work this time. Note you need to be logged in to use a code; please log in or register below. Otherwise this code may have already been used, does not meet the minimum voucher price or is invalid.

    • +2

Lucky this sandgroper was wide awake at 0400! lol

      • Looks like insomnia has its benefits lol

    • Not all of us!

  • I am confused, how are ppl getting the additional 4.25% off? is it through cashrewards? I thought according to cashrewards' condition, "Cashback is currently not payable on Any Woolworths Group Gift Cards purchased through Groupon"????

    • +1

Voucher is originally 5% off. $200 costs $190.
      Then 15% off the $190, becomes $161.50.
      161.50/200 = 19.25% off face value of 200

    • The purchase price of a $200 card is $161.50 hence that is 19.25% off face value of the card

    • Dude check the price on groupon, it's already discounted before you apply the 15% code.

  • anything else worth checking ?

  • now wait 2-4 days guys ^_^

    • Hopefully they get sent through sooner.

      • Go to your Groupon account and click View Voucher. Not sure if that scannable code works but don't know what else it would be?

        • +1

that groupon voucher is unrelated to the woolworths e-gift card you will be sent later..

its not a scannable code. Woolworths e-gift cards dont have anything 'scannable' by the operator as you need to type in the e-gift card number and assosciated pin from the e-gift card into the eftpos machine

        • @SBOB: Cool thanks.

  • Grabbed one after missing out yesterday! Nice one OP :)

  • Thanks for sharing. Gr8 work.

Only glancing through other deals for the 15% off last night after I got home from work and found this back again, so bought 2 $500 through Cashrewards and rang my friend, got her another $500 too.

  • +1

Darn forgot to use "AWESOME" this morning at 5am :-(
    End up paying $190 :-(
Baby woke me up at 5am, I went onto OzBargain for 5 mins and made an impulsive buy…forgot the discount code :-(

    • There there, have a +1

      • Thanks….

I emailed Groupon, but no luck yet :-(

    • I didn't get a cancellation on my one.

So I guess if you paid $190 for it, then they will honor the deal.

  • OH NO, missed it again!

  • +1

Lol I don't check ozb for a while and this deal has come and gone again.. OzBargain groundhog day strikes again :)

  • Dang missed it.

  • Hi,

This is a tracking receipt for your recent purchase through Cash Rewards.

    Retailer: Groupon
    Date of Sale: 13/03/2015
    Sale Value: AUD 475.00
    Expected Cashback: AUD 23.75

    This looks promising!

  • Got an email from cashrewards saying I should expect cashback of $9.50.

  • I got an email from Cashrewards saying they're processing my reward of $23.75 on my $500 gift card (which cost $425). Anyone else?

    • +2

It's an automated tracking message. Whether or not groupon pay cashrewards is another matter. I've been waiting 3 months for groupon giftcard related cashbacks.

        • @Turd:

  • Bastards. :(

  • Just rang groupon and she has no idea why it was refunded and she said there was no notes on the order…..

  • I just got a second refund which is from last deal.wtf going on with them

  • Same… refunded :(

  • +1

Got refund too this is bullshit, Groupon being dicks as usual?

  • refunded here too … oh well

  • I have not received any cancellation email at either of my 2 orders. I paid by credit card.

  • I haven't received my refund yet

  • +3

How hard is it to restrict the codes to applicable deals? Rather than issue refunds ans look like knobs? And piss off all of ozbargain in the process. Rookies…

  • Has anyone been refunded that didn't pay via Paypal?

  • Groupon just sent the money back to me - I made my order early this morning around 3am as well :-(

  • Refund email received from PayPal, no explanation. :-(

  • -2

Refunded too. They better show the fine print or there's a legal issue here.

    • +2

They realised that they couldn't honour the deal so they refunded you the money. What legal issue is there? Are you going to sue them?

      • -4

        The void a legal contract

        • And they refunded you the money.

        • @ronnknee: go to study some commerce laws first to find out where the legal binding contract exists before you come and neg people unless you represents Groupon to mislead people here.

        • -2

@wtfnodeal: Like I said, they couldn't honour the deal so they refunded the money. Are you going to sue them and seek compensation?

On a side note, how about you go learn to type before you tell other people what to do?

        • +3

@ronnknee: so you believe all retailers should accept customer payments first then think if they can fulfil the orders later? There is a legal issue here but pursuiting compensation is another matter. I answered your first question didn't I?
Simply neg people comments and provide evasive anwers does not make you any different than Groupon itself.
