    RRP $2699

    Refurbs have a RRP?

    I don't think so….

    • Carton damage only - with our dollar crashing out of control and the RBA looking to push it further downwards if I were in the market for a TV I would be grabbing "old" stock now if I could.

        Carton damage only

        Title says refurb

Ignore their RRP prices, more BS from these clowns at Sharp. The 60" carton damaged they're selling for 1779 and claiming the RRP is 2699, JB has for 1899 and but their "ticket price" is only 2399. And the JB one hasn't been dropped, kicked or whatever else has happened for the carton to be so severely damaged that a retailer can't sell it.

    • I don't think there's quite the saving here for a carton damage or refurbished product for me to buy. Even with the free delivery in comparison to JB ($59).

  • cant speak for the TV's but a few of the microwave deals are pretty good

Harvey Norman is $290, so paying $179 because of a damaged carton seems like a good buy + free shipping is the icing on the cake

They've slashed the price of the boxee box from $60.000001 to $60.00. Better jump on it while you can…

  • Tempted by the Quattron, I'm getting really sick of looking at yellow-ish seahorses.

  • Boxee Box by D-Link Was $60.000001 Now $60.00 LOL come on rep!

  • Jb sell the 80" quattron pro 'best price' for $5500.

  • Carton damage is just a marketing ploy to try and trick us.
Refurbisehed items are in actuall fact second hand products that have been temporarily fixed. Should be discounted at least 70% off the lowest price found elsewhere. Rubbish rrp prices are very deceptive to the untrained eye.
    Buyer beware!!!

    • How do you temporarily fix something on purpose?

    • +1

Because they are lemons.when things start going wrong they don't stop.
A big reason why people get rid of old cars

I have multiple manufacturer refurbished items that have worked fine. In some cases, refurbished products are better as known issues may have been fixed.

  • 13 March is yesterday, a Friday. Is it finished? Confused.

Sharp 2nd Warehouse Sale is from 9am to 5pm on this Saturday 13th March at Sharp's Huntingwood premise

    • I'm even more confused about the online sale: 9pm 13th March to 12pm 31th (sic) March. ¿Qué?

  • +1

When I read this"on this Saturday 13th March" I don't wonder about your RRP.

  • I bought one refurbished microwave from sharp before and had a very negative experience. Took 2 months to replace a non working microwave.

Fellow Ozbargainers….just wanted to share my experience…word of caution…
They had a similar sale in Nov'14, where they had muuuucchh better prices…i bought a refrigerator online. It was promised online that the delivery woild be in 4-6days but it took them 3 months to deliver my refrigerator.
obviously i couldnt wait for that long and had already purchased one in dec14. But they did not refund or return me my money until feb this year…after numerous follow ups and discussions with customer care they used to send me one liner….management is looking into it….so much so that when i told them i would approach the local consumer complaint dept…they said feel free to, coz we dont have time for every consumer…!!! After i started posting my experience on their facebook page…they got into action as it was bad publicity for them & decided to refund…avoid if u can…also one of my mates bought a tv from their warehouse/store in sydney where they had this sale….stopped working after 2 months & he also is struggling to get it repaired or exchanged because of their extremely poor customer service….
    So beware…
