Doesn't leak due to membrane technology. You can leave it open and water will only come out if you squeeze the bottle. Plus, there's another safety lock to close the bottle. Fancy for the average joe, but pretty good for $10. Definitely a good deal for cyclists.
Part of Chain Reaction Cycle's free shipping deal, you can get other things pretty cheap like bottle holders for your bike.

    Membrane technology! That's insane!

      In the membrane?

      • don't believe the hype

Nice find. The smaller 500ml version $8.99 here:

      It's $8.50 for the 500ml version.

      • Actually $8.49 ;)

  • GOOD FOR RUNNING TOO.

  • Is it like those tomato sauce bottles that you have to squeeze to extract the contents?

    • i will tell you when i receive mine.

    • Judging from this site, it's exactly like that.

    • It sounds the same as the gatorade bottles the NFL uses. The membrane is just a valve that doesn't allow water to spill unless you produce pressure by squeezing bottle. Very effective and extremely functional. There's a utube of a little girl demonstrating how if you tilt bottle so water is at the top you get water when you squeeze, otherwise you get a refreshing blast of mist. She sold me, and I imported 4 from US.

I'm going to get a couple of the smaller ones. 32oz I presume must be 750ml, which is a bit big for my liking.

    I can't see the dust/dirt cover.

    Am I missing something?

    • I presume this would refer to the membrane also not allowing anything in

      • No, it's more about covering the membrane. If you are riding on gravel, or other dusty conditions, the spout/membrane will soon get covered in dust, and therefore less than desirable to drink from.

Jossa membrane allows fluid to be delivered at 47 ml/sec.

That is some serious hydrating. Anyone happen to know what PSI it can do

    • 50 000 hectapascals, with 2500 brake horsepower.

How do these compare to Camebak Podiums?

  • +1

Lol, $10 for a plastic bottle. These things costs cents to make. Our society is so ripped off.

    • +3

Its cost $$ to research, design and advertise, and everyone along the distribution chain and investers need to make money :P

      • Yes and even the investors! ;)

  • why is the cashback link on this deal? I don't think I get how it works. I've successfully used it a couple of times but only after a lot of mucking around.
Is it available for this deal, or is it just always there, and we just have to know when to use it??

Edit: Never mind - I worked it out. :)

  • in case anyone wants some sweet cages to put their new bottles in:

only one color but an absolute steal for this model.

  • Thanks OP bought one, as well as some high5 zero tablets.

  • Thanks, bought one large and one small.

  • "100% biodegradable"

Is that a good thing for something you would want to last at least a couple of years with harsh use in the sun/heat etc?

    • In normal use the bottle will not degrade due to the absence of the microorganisms necessary for the process.

  • When you order your carbon bottle cage be sure to get carbon cage screws too.

    • There are non carbon screws?

  • Was looking at this before heading to the gym and oddly enough on the way to the gym I noticed my current bottle leaking through my gym bag and onto my back as I rode there…maybe it's a sign :O

  • My bottles arrived. The small ones are smaller than I expected, but better size for the office than my Gatorade bottles.

  • Got my bottle cage today, annoyingly it barely fits my cycling water bottle. Very tight fit.

    • see links above…

      • I wish I knew what you were on about

        • Read thru the links and realise that one must never buy cycling products from K-Mart - ever!

and realise this is tongue in cheek :)
