  • Some out of stock already, dodgy dicky?

  • +1

The DSE 54.5" TV works out to be $463.:)

  • +9

I don't want to spend $650 on a phone but that is a damn good price for a note 4 edge… Shh wallet don't cry it'll all be over soon

    • Yep,, its gone now,, Samsung Note 4 Edge Black — This item is out of stock.

  • I get $664.33 for the Note 4 Edge.

    $851.70 - 22% (20% + 2% cash rewards) = $664.33

  • +1

    Crazy price for note edge!

  • Where is the 2% cashback offer link?

    • +1

I just put it in post :)

      • So to use cashrewards I just have to log in to my account and then find the store I want to shop at and click on it? Then will I automatically get rewarded when I purchase something?

        • Never used it m8 but I think yeah you have to buy through the site, you might have to read how its done.

    • thanks.

  • Any thoughts on this TV for $599?

    http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/271795208493?_mwBanner=1

Was cheaper during boxing day, but I don't think anything like that would come up again.

    • I'm looking at that or the Panasonic 50"

      • +2

I've seen the Panasonic one in store and the picture quality does not seem as good.. but maybe that's just me

        • Yeh, i've read some reviews online saying similar things

but with the sony read reviews saying that the picture has no motion interpolation, which gives everything the 'soap opera' effect, which I hate

    • Great deal, my old Sony Bravia broke recently… ended up getting a Samsung 48" TV for $699, but wish it happened before Boxing Day! Unlike that deal, you can buy online and it looks like there's stock this time.

This is better in almost every way: smart TV, excellent response times (good for gaming) and 4 HDMI inputs. Let me know what the sound quality is like (miss the side speakers of my old TV!).

  • Note 4 edge gone :(

    • is the white one not working for you in post?

    • None available for me around Melbourne. Wished a delivery option was available

      • Keep trying, I was after one and noticed that the available stores near my area kept changing.

  • Is DSE 40'' led TV any good? It's for $270

    • +2

Bought a similar one recently (DSE 39.5") and was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality, unfortunately the sound was a bit ordinary though so you might have to buy a sound bar.

      • +2

Agreed. The picture on the DSE 39.5" is fine, the sound can be quite frustrating at times.

      • ok that's great thanks for your reply, I have a sound bar but am afraid of how the quality be with gaming (xbox 360) as I read online there is some lags between time to time. so my uses will be gaming and videos/movies streaming is it good enough to hand that?

I went to my local DSE but they don't have it in stock :(
I am upgrading from old Samsung LCD 32"

        • I only played a few of the recent 360 titles offline (which sounded fine) so I'm not sure how the sound will be for Xbox live, as for videos and movies I don't remember ever having any issue's. You could maybe read some of the reviews posted on OzBargain from eBays last 20% off sale.

  • Just bought the Logitech G710+ keyboard for $102 after this promo + 2% CashRewards.

    • Yeah bulk Logitech deals :)

      • Bought the G710+ instead of the G910 for a few reasons (just my opinion - others will probably have a different point of view):

        • My housemate has one and I like the Cherry Brown switches
        • Heard bad things about the Romer-G switches in the G910
        • Don't really care for the colours on the G910
  • Whats the Panasonic 55" like?

  • Flap me. They had a TV for $499 on their ebay site and $399 on their website, which I bought from their website because they had a code lowering it to $359 and I thought they were doing the "lift every price by 20% before discounting items" thing on their ebay site. Now they're selling it on their ebay site for $359 and that's before discount :(

    • Can you cancel your order?

      • Their website cancelled my original online order, so I rang them and they sent me a paypal invoice instead. I don't even know if I can cancel it because the order won't show up on their website and their call centre only opens monday to friday

      • I don't know if I'm better off buying the itme off Ebay and trying to cancel the original order or taking the loss. I bought the item very late on Friday, so it probably hasn't been dispatched yet

        • Ebay discount runs for a couple more days. Call first thing Monday and explain.

I am absolutely furious… I went on to purchase the Edge and my paypal password was not working… It did not let me log in at all. I hag to actually reset my password, by which time the phone was sold out. Anyone else had the same problem?

P.S.:If anyone impulse bought the black edge I would be willing to buy it off their hands, including something extra for the trouble.

    • +4

      Rookie mistake.

  • The Pana TH-50A430 price look promising, anybody have a good experience on this TV? I try to buy this.

  • Please suggest a good sound bar.

    I use a sony 700B sony tv

  • The black Note Edge is in stock again.

  • Small point, the Z623 speakers are only 2.1 channel not 5.1. They are of higher quality than the Z506 which are 5.1 though :)

    • :) Thanks

  • Hi Trent86 forgive me for being stupid but how did you get the $192 for the Motorola G 2nd Gen?

I can only work it out to $200 plus cents

    • $241 - 20% = $192 :)

      • opps sorry my mistake big fingers that's why i need a new smartphone with a bigger display :)

  • Any gud deal in 70 inch tv????

  • I'm in for this motorola phone as long as I can be satisfied on two points.

    1. Has better than average reception
    2. Has a nice loud ringer.

    Thanks.

  • Bought a secondhand Xbox One for $390 yesterday, as Dick had no consoles on their eBay store when I checked - and now they do and I could have saved $20 on a brand new one with 2 games. Sigh.

    • ebay sites are tricky dude, you normally have to search the particular product :)

      • Definitely keep in mind for next time.

  • no more edge phone left in VIC :(

  • Great deal on the Kindle Paperwhite (WiFi) 4GB! Got it for $168.24 and that includes the official leather case.

  • I'm attempting to purchase the 4K Panasonic TV, but it isn't giving me the option to collect in store. Are the other items available to collect in store?

EDIT: And now it's gone missing before I ordered it! Hope it comes back.

  • Looks like DSE unfortunately updated their pricing, the Moto G and Kindle for example (the ones I checked) are both back up slightly since the lingering sale ended.

  • +1

Got dicked. Dick put up all prices

  • +1

Well it was good while it lasted. Hope you guys got some of the bargains :)

  • Wow.
The base price of the TV I just bought went from $519 to $699 (before you take the 20% off.)

If you are going to be in a promotion just why would you not get it all sorted before the promotion starts???

Worse form than Hardly Normals, and that is really bad.

    • +1

Tell me about it, sort it all out before it starts, but hey they offered those deals when they didn't have to and some were amazing so I'm still happy with DSE :)

  • TRENT86 thanks for the post and the good work- my 87 y.o. Mum will be getting a new TV due to your heads up,
