        Key word being shit.

        • Seriously, they're great!

Not sure if tiny burger or giant tomato.

    • -1

They are actually smaller than normal burger we know.

    • -3

      Tiny burger.

    • Can confirm size is typical of burgers in Japan i.e. cheeseburger sized.

    • +2

Big tomato. The burgers are a good size.

    • +1

      Burger bigger than pictured :)

  • Burgers are fairly small but are really tasty. Rice burgers are great and their chicken is delish. Nice chips too. The Brisbane city store is always busy so must be lots of others thinking the same :)

  • -6

    That looks absolutely disgusting.

These burgers are not good. Had one in Brisbane in Jan, reminded me why I didn't like it in Singapore previously

    • No wonder. It's only good in Japan.

      • One can only hope

I enjoy the burgers here, normally they are a bit too expensive for what they are, but this may make it worth it. If i could buy just the sauce/onion mixture they use on their MOS burger i would. I have asked and they won't allow it >.<

One of the best burgers around. Can't understand why they are only in QLD. Always have loads when I go GC

    • There is a huge japanese market in Gold Coast, or at least there was, so most likely appealing to them.

      • Is there also a huge Japanese market in Sunnybank, Brisbane (where the first MOS Burger in Australia was started) or in Booval, Ipswich?

    • +1

Pretty sure the franchise is owner by a Taiwanese who lives in Brisbane. Therefore all the stores are in qld.

      • that makes sense. there's heaps in taiwan

  • Is this the same as in Japan? I called those mess burger, it would always fall apart and I'd get covered with lettuce and sauce.

Don't order rice burgers, they are horrible.

    • You're supposed to eat them using the packet the burger comes in… You shouldn't be getting anything on your hands. I believe the packet even has instructions written on.

As for whether they're the same as in japan, for the mos burger at least, the patty is significantly more tasty. I found the japanese version to be a little bland. The teriyaki chicken burger however is a little better in Japan. Still good here though.

      对你的品位感到抱歉。其实我也觉得三明治一点味道都没有,很奇怪为什么你们都喜欢吃。

      • Lol! Different strokes for different folks :)

Time to put my amateur Chinese skills to the test:

I'm sorry about your taste. Actually, I don't think sandwiches have much of a taste either. It's really strange how you all like eating them.

+1 Wish they had a store in Syndney as it would provide me with an alternative to HJ's. Had some when I was in Japan. Felt the rice burger was too close to an onigiri (rice ball) but absolutely loved the sauce in their namesake MOS burger!

    • +1

Onigiri store in Australia is my million dollar idea

  • +7

    MOS Def a good deal.

  • +1

The waygu and the shrimp are great burgers.
The normal mos burger with the meat sauce is nice as well.

    • they all taste good if you're…really, really hungry ;)

  • Anyone know how much the side chips cost?? xD

    • +1

      $3 for regular chips
      $6 for large chips

  • +1

MOS burgers are a classic overseas, great ingredients (nothing tastes near as disgusting as other stores) and reasonable prices. Melbourne pls!

  • +1

I was going to get this, but then realised you need to get a 'set meal', which I believe is minimum $3.65 for the small chips set with drink + $1 for the burger. I just wanted the burger dammit.

    • "Minimum $3.65 for set meal" should be in the description

      • Thanks, didn't have that info to hand. Post now updated.

  • These burgers are little pockets of yummy - love em!

The thick tomato slice is genius!
