    just my 2 cents worth,

an awesome little USB light, flexible and light output is great.

I have 5 of these that i use in various applications

    • plugged into small power bank as a torch….
    • in the car's USB charger.
    • laptop at night
    • reading light in bed.
    • night light plugged into back of computer
    • ambient light plugged into back of TV>
  • Cheaper on eBay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Mini-Xiaomi-USB-LED-Ligh…

Can you bring it down further REP?

    • +4

Are those authentic? Xiaomi is popular for counterfeit….

    • +5

At Banggood we guarantee our Xiaomi Lights are genuine and come from the Xiaomi factory, not a knock off producer. On eBay there is a higher risk of imitation products that often look similar but are not originals. The link you provided shows photos of a product that has no Xiaomi logo on the USB plug, if you look carefully the originals have Xiaomi’s “MI” mark on the base of the light, look at our product photos and compare. We are offering peace of mind and the best deal on verified original Xiaomi.

      • Only some of your images show a logo at the base? Actually, only the white one. The ebay listing also only shows the logo on the white one?

        • +5

You are right, they have some photos similar to ours, so it is difficult to base this on just the photos. Our original point is still there though, ours are guaranteed original, we are selling below the price listed on Xiaomi’s official site and find it hard to belive they can offer Xiaomi at this price.

        • +1

          Ok, thx for the follow-up.

  • +2

You are showing AU$3.41 but they are just AU$2.98 on the bay rep.

    Do better?

    • $3.14 when viewed in AUD

      • Think they updated it.

Only 'cos you were so polite.

    Size:17018.59mm

    That's a BIG light

    • That big will it break the USB port?

    • +2

      That's what she said :)

    • Sorry,fixed

      • +1

Goind to do anything with the price?
There are two posts showing them cheaper…

      • +1

Any bulk price like 5 for $10?

        • Yes, bulk prices are listed on the website. e.g. Qty of 10 is $USD2.27 each

        • Qty (unit) Price AU$
          1 $3.14ea
          3 $2.82ea
          10 $2.73ea
          30 $2.68ea
          100 $2.59ea

  • Not quite the same, but for someone looking for similar, I got these from ICStation and was pretty happy with them:

    http://www.icstation.com/icstation-light-pure-white-5050-dou…

    • +3

"Not quite the same" is the understatement of the decade.

That IC station thing isn't "similar" to the Xiaomi ROFL.

      • +3

Actually it's similar if your requirements are simply a USB powered LED light. But that's okay let's not offer alternatives and help each other out.

I'm also at a loss as to how I am trolling.

        • -2

I'm also at a loss as to how I am trolling

Here is the last deal that you posted: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/183205

2 six packs of Matso's Ginger Beer for $30

So, what you are doing here is exactly the same troll as if I posted in your thread saying that an alternative is to buy 12 pack of Schweppes Ginger Beer at Coles.

I could justify that by saying "it's similar if your requirements are simply a can with Ginger Beer inside it. But that's okay let's not offer alternatives and help each other out."

Now, go away and think about it, and how you would feel if people posted irrelevant random crap in your threads.

    • This one from ICStation is even better because light output is adjustable by touch.

      • -1

        Yeah, and so what?

Guys, before you post your stupid "similar" items, how about you go and LOOK at what the OP is selling. Look at the pictures, and how the item can be used.

Think about it before you post, for gawd's sake. The whole idea of this community is to help each other, not to troll or waste other member's time.

Got two of them month ago. this led light smells really bad after short on time. May not suitable for close up use or as bedside lamps

    • The material is like the sport band, which has a slight rubber odor at first. This is the first we have heard of a really bad smell. What are you using as the power source?

      • Mi battery

        • +4

If you are using a Xiaomi powerbank it should be operating ok, we have never heard of a bad smell before, if you have purchased form us you are welcome to contact our support team and they will offer you assistance and investigate further.

    • +1

Maybe you got fakes from another website using dodgy plastic that is outgassing?

      • +3

Brought from banggood, that is for sure. Don't think it is fake just low price material for low end products.

Don't get me wrong. The little light did look decent for the price.

Just order one can smell it yourself.

        • +1

          Well thnaks for the info!
I definitely wont get them if they smell, it can't be healthy

        • +2

@King Tightarse: with a username like yours, I wouldn't have thought smell would bother you ;-)

        • +1

          @seanbsydney:
I've had a lot of jokes about my username, but that one was relatively pissweak.
Need to try harder, son :)

        • @ozy:

Do you ever wonder that TA (TightArse) related to King TA ? or is it just coincidence?
Seems they having a hard time shitting themselves.

Tempted to buy this, except they haven't even given me the Xiaomi 10400MAH i ordered. And its been almost 1 month.

    • I haven't recieved my 10400 too but this lamp arrived last week.

Loving the lamp. Nice and bright. Super light. Will be perfect for when I go traveling to use with a power bank. Might just grab another.

      • how long did it take for the lamp to arrive?

        • 15 days

        • 8 days for me - ordered 21/04 and shipped the following day

    • Same problem here…

    • Never received my 16000mAh from them either. That was 4 months ago.

  • Guys if you order using the app you can also add one of three 1cent items… Car usb charger plug, nail clippers, key bottle opener tool thing.

1 item per mobile app user.

I initially downloaded the app because the mobile website advertised a banner for 10 percent off my first order but obviously not… banggood, why?!

  • +3

I bought two of these from Banggood a couple of months ago for around US$5.00 each and they have been fantastic when used with the Xiaomi power bank.

Wanting a couple more I turned to eBay as they were cheaper and the seller showed pictures that included the MI logo. At this price point I didn't even think about fakes but the two I got off eBay are both fakes from different manufacturers.

They both have different shades, one is more yellow than the other and neither of them work correctly with the Xiaomi power bank. The problem is they won't turn off, if you press the power button they switch off but then come straight back on again so you have to unplug them to turn off. The genuine one turns on and off with the power button and stays off.

I lodged a dispute with eBay but in the end not worth the hassle as return postage was dearer than I paid for them. Happy to name and shame the ebay seller if it doesn't break any rules.

    • what rules?wtf rules?
please name and shame the ebay seller by all means

Xiaomi stuff are not all posh and high quality. They are built cheap and sold at premium price.

  • looks useful!

  • Thanx. I bought these two:

1 x Original Xiaomi LED Light With USB For Power Bank Tablet (SKU173089) AU$3.14 Color White
    1 x Original Xiaomi 16000mAh Universal Battery Charger Power Bank (SKU180383) AU$32.47

  • Dear Rep,
I ordered a Xiaomi powerbank more than 3 weeks back. I have yet to receive it. Your website does not show any tracking information for my order. I have sent you messages but you have not replied. Can you please fix this for me? Here are the details:

    Order # - 5464511
    Order Date: 03/27/2015 23:03:55

    • +1

Most of the time needs a month from my experience.

      • I usually need to wait for 3-4 weeks for anything ordered from China. When I order something, I set my expectations accordingly.

        • They come on a slow boat, didn't they tell you this?

  • +2

These have been brilliant today with the power failures in Newcastle!

    • Ordered two. I think they will be good back up for power failures like today. Also bought another Xiaomi power bank as the one I bought earlier (from banggood) was a real help when I was on a holiday earlier, I would say it's a must for travelling. Charges my Google Nexus 5 about 3/4 times before I need to recharge the power bank again. Also, while travelling make sure you put power banks in your hand luggage as some airports do not like them in checked luggage.

  • Inexpensive yet functional!

  • 6.35 @ Gearbest delivered

  • Alright so I ordered two of these lights, but only received one in the mail today (shipped 22/04 so quite surprised it only took 8 days). I'm assuming they must have shipped out separately since I ordered the second one few hours after ordering the first one. Otherwise the light seems to be genuine and I'm really happy with how bright it is. Now for the power bank…

  • I received mine yesterday, completely forgot i bought them.

  • -1

    Mine arrived yesterdays as well.

  • Very good product. I am going to order more.
