Yes it might be better for some products as the 40% was only for limited items, no?
I assume that 40% off is from the RRP, so the difference might not be that great for some items.
Example:
Samsonite 72 Hours Softside Suitcase 55cm
Default price in points: 35,500 less 40% = 21,300
Sale price (now): 25,500 less 10% = 22,950
The difference is about 7.75%
Doesn't seem to work on JBHifi gift cards either.

Had a look at the luggage on sale, but the value pales in comparison to yesterday's sale at Myer.

The value of a point depends on what you usually redeem it for.
If you redeem for WW gift cards using Auto Rewards the coversion is about 0.66cents per point.
If you redeem for flights or upgrades the coversion is at least 1 cent per point, going up to 3-5cents per point depending on the type of flight, class of flight or type of upgrade.
Just tried on woolsworth egift card and didnt work. Are there any conditions?
